This screwed me up last night when applying for someone. Bought new license during the application process and couldnt print it out or even get the number. Was only able to get an application in for antelope and not for elk cause I had no license number for the applicant. If you had just went to apply for elk it automatically uploads the new license number you just purchased in the license field.

Sorry for the weird title but wasn't sure where else to post it. My brother in law shot this guy today and once he picked him up he noticed his back toes were gone and just little stubs left. Anyone know anything about them or what might have caused it? Looks pretty painful.

Man my post took a turn for the best. .
-
Because you messed up and didn't put in all the right info
-
Gotta be pretty imbalanced to eat your feet off! Glad he got put out of his misery though.
-
Go to the portal and then click the hunt/draw info tab. That pulls up their apps from the past 5 years. Click on get point guard on this year's pending app.
-
Sounds like if you're down to your last year or two of ever getting to hunt is a pretty good reason to settle.

Reminder - AZDFG Not Calling This Year
bonecollector777 replied to rossislider's topic in Elk Hunting
Bad idea. Way too much extra work. And then you have to figure out what to do when someone doesn't end up calling and paying for their tag. Definitely no delay in results if you put the responsibility on the people applying to just be big boys and make sure your card is working before hand. -
It's the third one from top. It shows how many points each hunt took to draw in the bonus pass. Make sure your regs match with the report year
-
Had you posted this two days ago I know two guys that applied with 12 points that would have let you apply for 3c if that's what you're looking to get. How many points do you have right now?
-
Everyone I've heard it happening to is because the email for their portal and the email they have in the draw system isn't the same. But yes like you did you can always go in afterward and purchase it. It takes a while for the newest app to appear in your history though so don't want to long

Quick question regarding residency because I'm bored. If I live in AZ and put in for tags with my az license and during the app process I move out of state do I owe more money? Do I need to pay for a nr license and tag at that point? At what point do you have to start buying nr licenses etc.? If I receive my tag while still a res and move away before the hunt what happens?
-
So whatever your residency is at the time you apply is what they go off of? What if you DO claim residency somewhere else a day after you applied for a tag?
-
Its only illegal if you get caught right? Haha but in all seriousness yes the penalties are severe so make sure you cover up all the evidence

The draw reports are on game and fish website. Need last year's regs though. Go to the hunting tab and then bonus point reports tab and they are there.

He attempted to attack you when you took the picture. BOOM. Self Defense.

I emailed everyone on the list and received an email from Fann saying she's against it. I know Allen will be against it as well. I just worry if it ever became a proposition and the people got to vote on it we would be in trouble.

I believe you can as long as they stay on a leash.

There's a few late rifle hunts he can get with 5 points. Ones he would get or be very close to getting around 4b, 6b,7e, 7w, 22. Some of those aren't guarantees but more than likely he could pull one. Especially the 22 tag.
-
To be able to guarantee someone a 23 tag with 17 points they would also need atleast 16-17 points do wouldn't really be much of an advantage.
-
You could still be 10+ years out from a rifle tag with so many guys applying for that hunt. There's about 325 residents with 17+ points. They aren't all gonna put in for 23 but a lot will. And with only 2-3 tags going to top point holders it could be a while before you get there. You've waited a long time and you'll probably never get that many points again so it's always a gamble going for the Archery hunt but you'll have a blast either way. This year's Archery hunt should be the best in a while with the later dates. Only going to get earlier from here on in the next 6 years. Archery is always more challenging but you will still have a chance at some good bulls. Do you Archery hunt much?

Until the cycle there is another check/balance in place and it throws you out of the draw. They may not now, but there's no reason they can't track statistics on % of valid licenses and duplicates, lost money makes change. Not saying your wrong, but I wouldn't trust it. Trust it, the lady at azgfd in Mesa told me the same thing. Last year I made up a number for my dad's app and he was drawn for bull last yearYou're brave

Just go online and buy yourself a new license that is valid before draw deadline and you're fine. Making a big deal out of nothing. Their system will see you have a valid license.
