I don't know the story but just because one guy comes on that was involved with the bucks in question saying everything is ok doesn't mean it is. There were a few guys that have said they already know bucks were taken and people had pled guilty. So. . Who knows what really happened. I'm not saying it was poached or not but time will tell.

They better not extend the deadline. . I hate it as much as anyone that the site isn't working but we know it's coming every year so we need to just prepare for it because obviously they aren't gonna fix it no matter how much more money they make us give them. Them extending the deadline simply pleases the very few that haven't put in on time and screws the majority who prepared and put in weeks ago.

Yeah I just happened to screen shot that pic when it first came up because that buck is a monster! Sad to see some people are dumb enough to poach it and then extra dumb enough to post pics of it on the internet. Hope it's not true because it always makes it worse knowing that now azgfd gets to profit off these poached animals at their auctions.

You can always look at the bonus reports from last year. It shows you which tags went in the bonus pass and how many people put in for each hunt. Just have to match up the hunt numbers from last years regs. But something to think about is just because a tag didn't go in the bonus pass last year doesn't mean it won't this year. Just completely depends on where the max holders decide to put in this year. Obviously stay away from 22 and 24 because a lot of max holders put in for those.

After not being able to find the article from last year that broke down the bighorn sheep odds very well I decided to begin searching through the bonus point reports to see which units wouldn't be having the max point holders applying there. I downloaded the deer,sheep,javelina,turkey,buffalo bonus point pass by hunt # report and noticed it shows the Spring 2014 bonus pass info. Every bonus point report that is supposed to be for deer, sheep, turkey etc. from 2013 shows up as Spring 2014 info. Anyone else have this problem or is my computer crazy? Without the report I really have no idea what unit to put in for because I have 13 points and need to find units not gonna be taken by max point holders like 22, 24b etc. Any help on getting that bonus pass report from last years draw would be appreciated. Thanks!

Azmthunter it shows how many people put in for each hunt and how many people with different amounts of bonus points put in for those hunts and who got drawn. Just helps kinda see more popular units where max holders might be putting in or some unit where thousands of people put in.

Calling elk even during a hunt usually ends up spooking them. It's very hard to get a big bull with cows to come to you. Plus he knows right where you are if one does happen to come in. I prefer bugling simply to get a response and then moving in and cutting them off. Don't even carry a cow call during the rut while hunting.

Thanks for the report 1uglydude. I emailed them about it yesterday and they let me know a couple of hours ago it was fixed. Did a bunch of research and am all put in! Now the wait . .

As some of you know I have started buying antler and thought I'd show some pics of the first load. Forgot to take a pic with it fully loaded but had a 24 foot budget truck loaded to the gills. Included a couple random pics taken during the last month. Of the 9000 pounds purchased 4500 was brown. Lots of work but lots of fun! And still have a lot coming in.

Last year I found an article that broke down the draw odds for each unit and gave advice for which were the best units to draw for out of state hunters. For some reason I can't find it or any article or information similar besides draw odds from azgfd. Anyone know where that article is or who wrote it? It is super in depth and a lot of help. Would like to take a look at it again. Thanks!

The day I don't check the classifieds and miss out on this! Those guns are awesome! My dad has one and they are really hard to find these days in good shape. Nice snag. If anyone that just bought one happens to change their mind on wanting it just let me know haha
