New England Firearms Handi-rifle with scoped 25.06 and .22-250 barrels
bonecollector777 posted a topic in Classified Ads
I have a used but in good condition New England Firearms Single Shot Handi-rifle with two scoped barrels. 25.06 is blued with a Redhead 6-18X50 scope. The .22-250 is a stainless steel with a Tasco 4-12X40 scope. Asking $550 for everything. Includes both gun cases. Text or Call Blake at 928-240-3567 -
Yeah the guys that use it for furniture are paying the same price for browns as the other guy that's using the broken browns to make knife handles out of. So if you feel like losing money to your antler buyer that docks for broken points you're nicer than I am. Most of the buyers I have dealt with don't mention anything about them being broken and if they do I simply pick up my antlers and go find a buyer who is fair.

Any other lucky 23N Early Archery Bull tag Holders here?

It's one of the better units for big bulls. But, like any unit, you will have to work hard and be patient to find the big bruisers. Some guy on one of the forums, it may have been this one, drew the early rifle tag in there last year. It was his first elk hunt and he went it alone. He obviously didn't know what he had because he shot a 250-260ish six by six on opening day. He was thrilled to death, and any bull is a trophy, but the unit has a lot more potential than that. I think it's kind of sad when random people that don't know what's going on and put in and get drawn for tags like 23N, 9, 27, 10, 1.They don't know what they have and kill a bull that they could have killed in any unit in the state. I know he was happy to kill it and some of you say that's all that matters is getting one but seriously? Go put in for a late tag or something if you want 250" bulls. -

No other hunts going on at that time. Just us! And probably all the outfitters and guides getting in the way scouting for their rifle hunters. -
Hey, Don't fall for that crap that broken antlers are worth less. If it's brown it's brown and they know that. Just a way to screw you over and they will turn around and sell it as if it were a regular brown. Same way with hard white. Even if it one broken point it's still worth the same amount.

I wouldn't say popular seeing as though it only has 15 tags for the whole hunt but that is crazy you know half of the tag holders. Are they all from up there in the white mountains? -
First trip out and came back with 9 antlers!

shedhunter19 seems to not know how to use correct grammar. Which causes confusion like this. In his tantrum he was agreeing with you that all the bulls had dropped and then went on to tell me to not post pictures to look like a bad A. Apparently anyone that finds more than 5 sheds in a year cheated and by posting the pics they are attempting to be a bad A. -

Well, that's 4 of the tags, plus the 1 out of stater. So ten more of you out there somewhere? -

Yeah, the way I see it is it's kind of a free for all for everyone but those guys in the top BP pool. If you're not up there with 14-15 BP or more I think you pretty much have the same chance as anyone else getting these low draw odd hunts. Seems every year tons of people I know with 1-3 BP's get the best tags while some guys with 12-14 BP's get skunked once again. Kinda seems wrong. -
Haha sounds like the GF is gonna get left behind in 4A.

I'm likin' the idea of the green food supplement from auto zone or a cheap piece of lead.

Apparently shedfinder hasn't been anywhere near 3C the past 5 years since he doesn't see manzanita there. Everywhere you walk there is manzanita! But as I said before you can't be lazy and hope to get out and find antlers. Dobbs, before you say anything else to look like an idiot you can see that small pine branch is covering my license plate from the picture being taken. You can even see on the left side of the quad and towards the front where the dirt is raised up which is the edge of the road I was parked on. Wanna know how you find 9 antlers in 3 hours? You get out there and hit the nastiest country you can find where the elk are and you find antlers. Walking nonstop for 3 hours up and down steep ridges is how you walk yourself to death. Not walking the easy trails that everyone else has already hit. But I understand coming from people like you and shedhunter you wouldn't understand since you have never done it. Give a call to my bishop at church and ask if I was in church Sunday at 1:00 in Heber and see what he says. I'm good but not that good to make a quick trip to NE New Mexico and back to Heber in 6 hours just to find 9 antlers. -

This spot we skipped last year and hit it this year so it's got two years worth of antlers. We saw a lot of bulls still packing antlers so we will be back in there next week to hopefully find those others. -

Naw, that's only unheard of if you're lazy and hunt for antlers around where you live. 3C is all I need. . -

Maybe it was a cruel prank and she knows Monday (April Fools day) when you check it it's gonna say not drawn? haha kidding! That would be a horrible joke. . congrats! -
Whoa! Can anyone else believe GandF actually lowered the overall number of deer tags? Poor guys aren't gonna know what to do getting less money this year. That will probably set at least one of them back a new truck this upcoming season.
