  1. Yeti 65 is what I have and I've been very happy with it. Lots of great coolers out there now with similar results in keeping ice. I myself have never tried any other brand other than Yeti and the coleman type coolers. So Yeti is by far the best I've tried myself.

They are built like beasts and are on the heavy side when empty.

Awesome buck man! What size pack did you use to fill up with all the meat?

I used the Kuiu Icon Pro 3200. It hauled the weight awsome. I didn't think I was capable of hauling that much weight, but a good pack makes a huge difference. I know it is designed to pull the pack bag away from the frame and put the meat there, but I didn't have time to fool with it, so I put the game bags of meat in a garbage bag, inside the pack bag. Still got some blood leakage, but not too bad. The two bags of deboned meat weighed 43 lbs. With the cape/head....probably 50 lbs of deer. Add my 25 lb normal pack weight and 8.5 lb rifle...thats over 80 lbs. The Kuiu pack made it possible.

Awesome man! I've thought about trading my 5200 bag for a 3200. Just because I don't think my 5200 will get enough use like a 3200 would. Thanks for letting me know and congrats again on your buck!

Bad @$$ buck man! That buck would be hard to pass up to my buddy hahaha

I was a hard decision, trust me.

I'm guessing you have your sight on something special already if you passed that one up. You are truly an amazing friend Haha. Congrats to the both of you on working together on that buck, that thing is a TOAD!

  4. Not sure if these are the same thing or not but....

When I was in elementary school there was a tree with small reddish-orange berries. Somewhat looks like them in the picture but a little more reddish. We would take them off the tree, peel the small layer of "shell" and we would just pop em in our mouths. They tasted like tea. We would chew them because they had somewhat of a hard texture. I went back to my old school not too long ago and the tree was still there. Not sure what kind of tree it is? Would this hackberry tree be one to be planted on a school yard?

  5. I have the Alaskan Guide Creations that you are talking about and like it. It has a couple little pouches for putting stuff in. And my phone fits in the elastic pockets at the top. The only thing I would change is the way the top latches. It would be nice if it was elastic that stretched over a hook. It would be easier and quieter to open and close.

Not sure what model AGC harness you have but my AGC kiss model had the option for a bungee/hook style or the original buckle closure. Not sure if they do that for all the models they offer?
