Its a dang device u leave in the woods, binoculars the hunter carries, go hunt!
-
Not sure, seems like its the only thing AZ game & fish manage , only tags they have cut
-
I guess u find it ethical to to find animals with a device that pretty much undectical by a animals. Selling animals has put pile of people in the woods, most of the helpers don't have a guide license but thats probably fine with u also. 20 years ago we didn't have them littered on public land and good hunters still harvested animals

So a animal has to water no matter what, an animal will choose to water or salt if there is a hunter at the location? Or will water at nite with a surveillance device lagged to a tree because it has to? 24/7 surveillance, fair chase? We all see the selling of game after trophy is found? Ethical? Lots of people don't enjoy seeing cameras on national forest

In AZ where water is scarce and animals do not detect a cameras, you don't see a issue where a animal cannot detect a danger? Who cares what b&c says, a 20 man army of glassers probably doesn't fall under a fair choice violation either

With alot of country in the Tonto getting choked off with cedars, has there been any effort from conservation groups to get some control or relief for game? Looking at some reports a mature cedar can soak up 30 to 50 gallons of water a day. Forest service waits for a fire or pays a company to come in and clear fire break areas. Both cost a ton of money. Think FS could allow the cutting of some live trees to help out thinning, would also help people that burn firewood to heat their home. It is tough to find legal trees to cut. Will it take a lawsuit from someone like SRP for water rights to get any action?

Talking more of letting people cut some live trees for firewood use, tough to find legal trees to cut in the tonto. The last fire break clearing south of payson(gun range rd) had 6 or more excavators with mulching heads. Those trees could have been used for heating homes . I'm sure we payed a pretty penny for that California company to clear it. Soon as you hit the reservation line out of show low you can see a good looking forest. Cant walk thru the jungle of cedars north of rye, wasn't like that when was a kid.
