GameHauler Report post Posted September 13, 2009 They do it every year and it is sad for the hunters but they have to do the thinning when they can. I have hunted Elk in the middle of the burns and seen allot of them still there. I have a hunch now I know more that you may be able to use it as an advantage when they are in the rut.
