Best Camera`s to use

Hey Everyone

I hope all you guys and gals had a great 2003 season. Well I broke my old Minolta 35mm camera on my last hunt and had to borrow a camera. I would really like to get some feedback on camera`s. I know a guy that told me to get a Cannon elf digital, because he said there good ,small and lightweight. I can`t afford to spend a fortune on a camera and I`m used to the 35mm. I understand the digital`s are awesome. I don`t know which way to go? I have packed a camera for the last 20 years so I`m not to hung up about weight. Maybe you guys can give me some feedback? Please I need feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
