cessna Report post Posted June 4, 2016 I recently acquired a 1910-1912 catalog from Holland & Holland Rifles in England. This scope was advertised for their rifles. The elevation turret is marked in yards. The adjustment in front of the eyepiece is for focus. It does not give the magnification. I thought this was interesting considering the interest in turrets on our modern rifles. Apparently the idea has been around for some time.
