A few years ago when I bought it, the download was for two GPS's and the card works in one at a time. But they may have changed their policy. It used to say very clearly on their website how many GPSs could be used, so I would thoroughly read their website. There was a page that was designed to help users determine if they should get the download or the SD card and that info was on that page. +1 on the gpsfiledepot free maps. It doesn't seem to have the private land ownership mapped as good as hunting gps maps does, but it has all the public land for sure and it's free.....I downloaded the entire state of AZ and installed it on my garmin etrex recently.

New Knife - Outdoor Edge Razor Blaze
CouesWhitetail replied to twigsnapper's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Looks good....I didn't know they made changeable blade knives....Havalon has actually come up with a larger bladed hunting knife also. But the new outdoor edge knife looks even larger than that new havalon. -
Sorry about your dog....I am always worried mine will get torn up by javelina while we are out hiking....

Situational Awareness... Feeling like a Jackwagon.
CouesWhitetail replied to Scooter's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Hey Scooter, As has been mentioned, whenever you see a post you think is inappropriate, please use the "report" text link that is found in the bottom of every post. As Coueshunter stated we don't read every post and so the best way to bring it to a moderators attention is to report it. I didn't see what rifleman posted since it was deleted before I got back from Mt Graham today (where I don't have internet service), but I am sure Coueshunter took appropriate action deleting the post. I must say Scooter it looks like you handled the situation very well and I appreciate that! Sorry it took so long for us to notice there was a problem. I encourage everyone to use the report button if you see a thread getting out of control and that way the problem can be dealt with quicker. Rifleman is gone (banned), but there will always be a negative person who whips people up. So please help us keep this site clean and respectful by letting moderators know when there is a problem. Situational Awareness... Feeling like a Jackwagon.
CouesWhitetail replied to Scooter's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Guys, please refrain from personal attacks....there is no value in it. You can state your opinions without personally bashing people. I can never understand why anyone would go out of their way to bash another hunter for legally hunting. Please guys, show some respect for fellow members. If you don't like the method of hunting they use, you can say so without belittling the other person. -
Please consider donating to this fundraiser to help with her medical costs as she fights for her life. https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/7rt2/jackies-fight I know her husband JD Pepper is an avid sportsman and has served on the board of directors for conservation groups in AZ. JD is a military veteran and this is a great way to help repay him for his service to our country. I asked JD to write something up about himself so that you guys can know him and his family better: "I was born an raised in AZ. Jackie and I went to Mesa High an graduated from there together. I have hunted AZ all my life since i was old enough to carry a bb gun, with my family. Family values is a big deal with us. We have four children at home. We live in Lakeside now where I am a firefighter. I was in the AZ natl guard from 89 to 2005 deployed in 03. My children hunt as well. We will be traveling to Tucson for her treatments and this is an attempt to help cover medical expenses. Anything donated at giveforward.com whether its prayers, well wishes or anything is great. If you need more info let me know. I've helped a lot of hunters, residents, non residents, as a guide and pro bono. Just ask Randy Newberb of on your own adventures. I have never asked anything in this life always taking on things my self. This one is just too big for me to do on my own. Thank you very much for anything you can do."

Which model did you get? Maybe you just got one of the lower end fenix models? They have a huge variety of models. The TKs that I got are AMAZING! My surefire was an older model and it just burned through batteries too fast and wasn't nearly as bright as these Fenix. -
Great pics! Congrats on the new gun Peg! Hey, I just noticed that in the closeup you can see TJ is wearing his CWT hat while taking the photo (he is reflected in the window)!

Love it!! We have lots of law enforcement officers both state and local that browse the site.

whats the best flashlight to carry in your pack
CouesWhitetail replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
the Fenix flashlights are amazing!! i got two this summer for my nighttime owl work. they light up the forest! much better than my old surefire. I ordered mine online, but afterwards I saw that sportsmans had the fenix flashlights at the mesa store. I got the TK-15 and TK-22. You can get rechargeable batteries for them. They run on two CR123A batteries or one rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery. The rechargeable batteries are really lightweight and it's easy to carry a spare. You can read a ton of reviews of these flashlights on amazon.
