Sorry for the glitch....as has been said....tech support told me the site wouldnt have any uninterrupted service when i closed a certain acct.....i worked withem months ago to make sure nothing would be a problem and they assured me it would all work smoothly....obviously that was not the case....basically they changed the domain name servers to point to the old site and i had to change them back....that was done within hours, but then the new server info has to propogate through the internet and it takes up to 48 hrs for some, while for others its like 2 hrs

Carbon fiber tripods
CouesWhitetail replied to elkhunter's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Shaking in the wind is possible with most any tripod.....the larger the tripod, the less shaking, so there is always a trade off with stability and weight...i find the promaster very stable...i think my promaster is about as stable as my aluminum velbon tripod.......but i also sell a larger carbon fiber if you want a little more stability. The promaster has a little hook that hangs off the center column where you can hang a weight for added stability -
Bill Q thought the same as Ben does....he was having trouble posting, but made a new thread about it http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/36298-possible-answer-to-what-is-this/page__pid__342046?do=findComment&comment=342046

Carbon fiber tripods
CouesWhitetail replied to elkhunter's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
get the promaster carbon fiber that I sell. I LOVE this tripod! It's so lightweight it's ridiculous. It's perfect for coues hunting. Everyone who I have shown this tripod to has fallen in love with it! I just sold two to my hunting buddies last week, they are so excited about the weight savings and the quality! It's Scott Adam's new favorite tripod too. As always, I have a 100% money-back guarrantee....if you don't like the product, send it back for a refund. This tripod has twist legs, so no tabs to snap off like your velbon. http://store.coueswh...r-tripod-t325p/ I sell a larger more expensive carbon fiber tripod, but for the size and cost savings, I much prefer the promaster. -
Do bucks come back when spooked??
CouesWhitetail replied to Jojo261's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
It depends on how bad they were spooked and if they know why they spooked. A shot at a buck from 500 yards...it's possible the buck didn't know what spooked him. But if you are setting up 200 yards away from where you expect the deer to show up, you might be getting winded too (in other words the deer might not be coming in because they smell you). I would look for a water source (you mentioned the tank was dried up, so find active water source) in the area and climb a hill that gives you a vantage point and then you will be more likely to see some bucks. Sounds like you might be wasting your time in that spot where you spooked them.
