Wow, sorry to hear it. As has been said, it's a good reminder to be extra safe on the road. It only takes a second for things to go horribly wrong.

Looks like that .223 did some serious damage on that elk. and nice sheds!

in need of my sticker fix!
CouesWhitetail replied to arizonaelitefreak's topic in Sticker Sightings!
Arizonaelitefreak, I didn't get any email or text from you.....not sure why....was far as I know my email and phone are working fine... And Killacoues, not sure when you sent an email.....actually I have a few orders I am waiting on because I had to get more made, but they should go out by next week and the orders were only sent in a couple days ago. So if you sent a request longer than a few days ago, I don't know if I received it. I made it easier to order stickers now....you can just go to the Coueswhitetail.com store and place an order there....easier to order and easier for me to track orders that way. http://store.coueswhitetail.com -
WOW!! Thanks for posting up more info and pics! Congratulations to Ryan and crew for a bull of a lifetime!! WOW!!!

That's awesome!! thx for sharing! -
Lance from TLO asked me to share this info with you all..... The hunter's name is Ryan Owens and his friends Ben and Ryan Sandall (both guides for sponsor Timberland Outfitters) helped him get this bull. Lance told me they have been watching this bull for 4 years! WOW! This bull was taken by an awesome spot and stalk hunt ending with a 58 yard shot in his bed! Rough score is 435 1/8 gross, 414 5/8 net.

Solution to Water Hole Problems/Confrontations
CouesWhitetail replied to m77's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I am not sure your suggestion would really solve anything....it just moves the problem outward from the water hole to the trails leading to it. As has been stated, first come, first served.....it's pretty straight forward, if people can respect each other. -

CouesWhitetail replied to huntjunkie's topic in Elk Hunting
Love the updates and reports!! Thanks and good luck out there! -
View New Content is a text link in the upper right part of the forum. All you do is click on that after you are logged in and it will list all topics for which there are new posts since your last visit. Then when you see the list of topics with new posts, you will see a blue dot just to the left of the topic titles. Click on the dot and it will take you to the new post since your last visit. It's pretty simple. I attached some photos below that show the location of the View New Content text and also the location of the little blue dot I am talking about. Regarding following a topic.....if you have the topic open and are reading in it, look in the upper right area and below the banner ads at the top of the forum for some text that says "follow this topic". Click on that and it will give you a couple options for following and just follow the directions to then get notifications when changes are made to the topic. Once you click View New Content (shown above), then you will see a list of Topics with new posts since your last visit. That lists looks like the one in photo below. Look just to the left of the topic title and you will see a blue dot, click on that and it will go to the first new post since your last visit. If you just click on the title of the topic, it will automatically take you to the first post in the thread. And here is the location of the "Follow this topic" button:
