Cool experience!

I use GPS hunting maps and love it. I got the download for my GPS and another one. I have also gotten the SD card version for a worker of mine. Both work fine. I use just the BLM version also, I didn't pay extra to have landowner names on the private property. With the BLM version, you can still see property boundaries, just not the name of the land owner. With the download version, you could use it on 2 GPS (back a couple years ago when I bought it anyway). With the SD card, I think you would have to buy one for each GPS, but best to ask GPS hunting maps for exact details. You will love having a map on your GPS, it's way nicer than the old way (just waypoints like you are doing now and I did for years).

How long you been in NM? Got any NM buck pics to share?

WOW!!! I forgot about that post you made with those photos. WOW is all I can say. Imagine all the hunting hours put in for those trophies and I bet most if not all are archery hunts since they are rabid archers! Corky and Cindy have been mentors at the women's javelina hunt and they are fun people to be around. Very pleasant and giving. I am fortunate they donate their time to our camp!

It was a fun event! I enjoyed meeting new people and seeing many familiar faces. And wow, I can't say enough about the collection of monster bucks and bulls they have in that store! WOW! It's just amazing really. I wonder how they sleep at night....I would be worried the place would burn up all those great mounts. That lifesize giant coues buck is gorgeous!!! Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting Gila Outdoor!! I took some pics of some great bucks at the store and when I get some time I will post them up.

It should be just the same as regular posting of pics.....I don't know why it wouldn't work. If you are having trouble try switching to the basic file uploader rather than the flash uploader. Look in the part of the post where you would normally upload files for a text link for basic uploader.

I just spoke with Peg and he is out shooting shotguns with Ted this morning. She got him some new shotgun cases and a new phone (a smart phone! let's see if TJ can figure it out!) and they went out for a nice dinner last night.

Just a little update on the Gila Outdoor event..... We will have some great smoked hotdogs, a bunch of giveaways, and some 10 dollar raffles for a 300 ultra mag and a pair of 10x42 vortex hd vipers. Plus a huge new selection of inventory almost doubling what they have now!!! And of course they have all those GIANT bucks to look at while you are there! So come out and meet some CW.com members, look at some great mounts, enjoy some food and see if there isn't any new gear you just have to have for upcoming hunts!

I am not ready! Been crazy busy, but I hope most of you all are ready!

If you happen to go hiking a lot, you can work out your arms while hiking. We take our dogs walking out on USFS land most everyday and if I have an archery hunt coming up, I grab two equal weight stones and use them as if they were training weights. You can do all kinds of arm excercises with the stones while you are hiking. That way your work out doesn't take extra time or money! You can increase the weight of the stones as you get stronger.

Our old dog Molly used to carry her bowl around the house too. She even carried it through the doggy door when it was full because she liked to eat outside. but here is a pick of Julie the other day. She came into my office carrying the TV remote and a copy of Money Magazine!! She carries the remote alot, but the magazine was a first!
