I think most people would trade their 15s for the new 12s after looking through them side by side. Those 12s are phenomenal!

It's not contagious and it normally won't really affect a deer. The wart-like growths are called fibromas and caused by a virus but it is not contagious and usually a deer can live with it just fine. This poor deer has a really bad case of it though. If it covers and eye or somehow interferes with eating or hearing, then the deer will likely not make it. Poor thing.....I saw a lot more of this in deer on the east coast then I do out in here in AZ.

Very cool!! Thanks for the link!

+1 I saw the deer look alike too, but it just seemed wrong and then I never found the coyote until you said it was there. WOW, good one Pixman!!

<p>At least on my Droid, the way to upload photos is to make sure you browse the forum with the full version rather than mobile version. If you open the forum on your phone and it's the mobile version, then just look at the very bottom of the page for the words "Full Version". Click on that and then you can post as your normally do. Most of the subforums are set up as automatically using "fast reply" feature which doesn't allow for posting photos. however, you just look for "more reply options" under the box where you would post text and click on that. Then you can add attachments. If you try adding attachments and it doesn't show you choices for sources on your phone like "my gallery" then look for "use basic uploader" rather than the flash uploader. I can't seem to use the flash uploader on my phone, only the basic one. So select basic uploader and then you can upload pics.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Very sad indeed. Back when I was the tribal biologist for San Carlos I had to go to court to help the tribe in its case to keep water in the lake. When the fish die like that, diseases can be spread to the water birds and eagles that feed on them. Since San Carlos has breeding Bald Eagles, the Tribe thought the protection of those eagles from diseases brought on by mass fish die-off would help their case to keep water in the lake. That year the lake got low but no fish die-off occured. What a waste to have all those fish die this year.

You can give Jim a call and talk with him about it. The Jim White Head is not a true fluid head, so you might be expecting more than you should, but maybe not. To me, it's not rough at all, just touchy....it will change position quickly when you loosen the adjustment for the tilt. But give Jim a call and describe what you are experiencing and he can tell you if it's normal or not. If not, he will fix it for free. 928-635-5316

Special Commisioner's Coues Tag raises $15,000 for wildlife
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in The Campfire
I am at the SCI banquet in Tucson and the coues tag just sold for $15000 in some intense bidding. It is always fun to be sitting next to the winning bidder on something like this! All this money goes to the AGFD to be used on projects to benefit coues deer. Winning bidder is from Texas. -
