Here are a couple pics of how it should look Bill. Take a look and see if this is what you see on your screen below the text reply box. Are you using a MAC or PC? I added a yellow arrow and text to point out the Change Theme Text.

Bill, I think I fixed the avatar size....does it look right to you now? It is 5 pixels smaller than the old skin because the same size was pushing slightly outside the border of the graphic behind the avatars. but it's larger than it was when you originally asked me to look into it. Amanda

Bill, The "Change Theme" text is just to the right of what I think you are calling the orange target. "Change Theme" is just a text link, not a button. When you click on the text, it will show a menu with choices of skins. Yes, there are ways to limit the number of days shown when you click view new content. After you click View New Content, look to the left margin and you will see many options to click on to set View New Content to show just the new content since your last visit, or since the last 24 hrs, last week, last two weeks, etc. Those text options are shown under "By time period" and you will see a pink highlighted area showing what you have selected. If you click on the other options, the pink highlighted area will be over your choice. Bill you may call me if you want and I can talk you through it. 928-200-0544. I will check on the avatar size. Yes....It's always been a feature of this forum software but I never have used it. I might even be able to turn it off.

Directions on how to find it posted in my post prior to this one.... I will go back and bold the text that applies to how to find it so you can find it easier.

glad you like it. FYI - within each genre you can change radio stations. So let's say you pick Country and start playing it, well you can use the < > buttons to change stations within the country music genre. Some stations are old country, some newer and some mix. Same is true within the other music styles (rock and death metal). The music box only lets me select three basic music styles to have as buttons for you to choose from, which is a bummer since they have a bazillion styles of music available. For those that haven't seen the music box, I think it's only visible on the main forum index page, not the new content list page. To get to the main forum index page, look in upper left of forum and click on the word "forums" and it will show the main forum home page. When the main forum index page opens, the radio controls will show on right hand side of forum. Sometimes that radio player will stop playing if you hit "view new content" but you can keep it playing if you click on the button with the arrow in the upper right of the radio player. When you click on that it will pull it off the page and then will play no matter what page you are viewing.

There are basicall two main skins, one that looks like the old one (the tan/brown one) and one that is blue. Try each one and let me know which you like better. Go to Change Theme in bottom left to select the Club skin or the Xeriteq skin.

Ok, the forum has been upgraded. There are two main skins to choose from. To change the skins, look in the lower left corner of the forum for the "Change Theme" text and click on it. There you will see a list of skins you can select. Select different ones and see which you like.

Larry, the time that is displayed by the board is set by you actually. That way people can set the time to their local time. If the time isn't displaying properly, you can just click on your name in the upper right corner of the forum. That will bring out a drop down menu. Select "My Settings" and you will see a place to see the time relative to GMT. Select -7 GMT for Arizona time. You can call me if you have any trouble with that.

Anytime after 1 pm is good.

You add an attachment the same way you normally do when posting. Perhaps you are using "fast reply" which doesn't show the attachment feature. If so, look for something that says "use full editor" and then it will let you add attachments.

hehehe, TJ, take a deep breath...it will be ok I hope the upgrade will come on Mon or Tues. If it all goes well, there will be no interruption of service and it shouldn't look drastically different since I found someone who upgraded this skin to work with the new forum software. It should just have new features.
