Yes, like I said there is a deleted post from Lark in the trash can, so I am not saying it didn't exist, I just don't think a moderator deleted it. It is essentially identical to the post he made earlier today at 1102. I will check with technical support and see if they can tell me how it got deleted. -

Well Lark, I will ask the moderators, but generally if any moderator removes something from the site, they send a PM to the user explaining what was done and why. And they cc me on it and I haven't seen anything like that. so I doubt a moderator removed your post. When posts are deleted here by users themselves they go into a trash can. I see a post from you in there from yesterday afternoon, but it doesn't contain anything that I can see a moderator removing it for. It looks just like a post you made today in this thread. So I don't really get it. -
Hope you all have a great birthday!!

What post are you talking about? I don't think anyone has removed one of your posts here...or were you talking about another site? -

AWESOME! Sure looks like an ocelot to me, but then I have never seen one except for a skin on the wall of ranch in Mexico. How close are you to the border Andy (if you don't mind saying)? Was that a lion kill you put the cam on?

You are either a tribal member or a non-tribal member as far as San Carlos permits go. What state you live in doesn't matter.

Thought I would share this pic of my dog Sunshine. My husband was asked by the chamber of commerce director to try and get a "trailside flower pic" at one of our local parks in Globe and this is how he got it done. She looks like she is floating!!

My huntin' buddies Annie and Mykala wrote a couple great songs. One is about Javelina hunting and one is about me (they titled that one Hunting Queen). They sang both these songs recently at the women's javelina camp CW.com, Youth Outdoors Unlimited and AGFD hosted. The Javelina Song is to be sung to the music of "I Will Survive" and the girls did a GREAT job with this one! (here is a link to the music in case you need help remembering the song: ) and here are the words to the Hunting Queen song. This one is set to the old ABBA song Dancing Queen....so get that song in your head first and then read the words. For those that don't know I do a lot of owl surveys, hence the reference to knowing how to hoot. (in case you need help remembering that song, here is a link: http://ukulelehunt.com/2008/08/28/abba-dancing-queen/) Great job girls! You guys are the best. I was just on the phone with them and they are hunting down south at the jr jack camp and they just shot three jackrabbits! these girls are killers!

Hello All, I wanted to warn any holders of a first-season San Carlos Turkey Tag that the dates on your license may not be accurate. Mine was not. I spoke with the folks from San Carlos Rec and Wildlife recently and they said that if your first season permit doesn't say April 7 to April 15, 2012 that you need to mail in your tag or come by the office and have it changed. Also, the San Carlos website is back online...yeah! And it shows that the official first season turkey hunt has changed: http://www.scatrwd.com/ Save yourself a headache and check your permits now and get them fixed if necessary.

Great pic! Hope you guys get out soon. It's been crazy windy around here lately though.

This past Sept during my archery elk hunt some friends found a bunch of bighorn sheep that burned up in the Wallow fire. I went to investigate the next day and found 9 bighorn rams all torched in one area. I believe they got trapped by the fire/smoke. It looks like a nuclear bomb had gone off in that area. Very, very sad. some pics:
