Does the AWF letter say they are withdrawing from AZSFWC? I didn't see that in the letter.

My husband and I were out with our neighbor fishing from a boat on San Carlos Lake when we saw some bald eagles chasing an osprey around a bend in the lake. Later in the day we ended up in that cove fishing and saw a dead osprey floating in the water. I am sure it was killed by the eagles, which were likely the ones that nest near the lake.

Way to go Kolin and the other kids! and many thanks to AZSCI for hosting a hunt like this! I think it's a great way to excite kids about hunting! As a side note, AZSCI is hosting a Junior Jack Kamp down in southern AZ for kids to small game hunt. I heard the event is already filled and it's always a great time!

Yes, it's very sad. Thank you for sharing this. It was a pleasure knowing Javier's father and staying at his ranch. I heard that he had recently been awarded something like best rancher in Sonora. My heart goes out to Javier and his family as they deal with this loss. At least know his father is not suffering anymore.

If you are asking me if the governors meeting is confirmed, then yes, from what I hear it already happened this morning.

No, just three typical points per side and the rest are non-typical. It had 3 nontyp points on each side, totalling 15 5/8 of nontypical points.

I think the Governor was in favor of HB2072 long before this meeting due to the potential economic benefit of the expo. I think she was upset when the bill was pulled and is now pushing for it to continue moving forward. You all really need to voice your opinion to the Governor's office ASAP.

Wow, that's a really cool site! I like that you have the draw odds and hunt success and info on how many bonus points you need to draw tags. There is an amazing amount of info up there already and I can see you have a lot more to add. AZslim posted some suggestions about maps that I also think would be useful.

Very well said Bill. I think all of us that enjoy hunting need to listen and think about what he just said. This is why it drives me crazy when we divide ourselves up over issues like whether it's appropriate to use salt, trail cameras, long range shooting, archery, etc. We all need to be focused on the big picture if you want to preserve the hunting heritage we all enjoy.
