That looks awesome!! Where do you live again VegasJeep? I don't think I can make it due to another comittment, but if I can, I would love to swing by and say howdy.

I think 36A, B and C are good choices because it's easy country to glass, holds lots of deer and there are always left over tags. It's beautiful country for an out of state resident to visit. Illegal immigration and drug running is an issue down there, but even that is down like 40% over recent years, according to Border Patrol. I have been on several hunts down there and the illegals weren't an issue at all.

Doug (aka RedRabbit) takes his dog Rica on all his hunts. He even takes her out glassing on the hunt with him. I leave mine at home and my hubby takes care of them while I am gone. But as long as your dog is pretty obedient and won't go chasing deer, then you are probably ok to take them in the field with you. My dogs don't like being left at camp, so for me that's not an option unless someone is there to watch them.

And just an fyi - it will take some time to narrow it down to the top 5 for each category and then we will have voting. So give me a week to get all the pics downloaded and sorted into correct categories and get some folks to help me narrow it down to top 5. Then you guys can vote. Patience my friends....it all takes a lot of time and effort. Thanks to Javacowboy for writing the code to grab the pics and working through all the difficulties that entails! Without him we probably couldn't have the contest!
-
ok, I will change it back. I edited it because you submitted three. I will just take the first one and count it as a coues entry.

call me if you can't figure it out from the link posted above and I can walk you through it. basically pics have to be less than 2MB each or they are too large to post. When you make a post, sometimes you have to click on "use full editor" under the text box in order to see the attachment area for adding pics. That's because many of the subforums are set to fast reply where people can add a quick reply without pics. If you don't see something that refers to attachments under the text box, look for a green button that says Use Full Editor. and then when you click that you should see info on attachments. if you still have trouble, call me 928-200-0544....it's pretty simple once you figure it out for the first time...
