I'll pray for her continued improvement. What a thing for a little baby to have to go through. Nice to hear it drew your family closer together and it's always good to be reminded about what's important in life!

I shot this turkey in NM a couple springs ago and did the taxidermy work myself on it. Unfortunately, I didn't flatten out the wings when it was drying so the wings have a curve to them that makes it impossible to hang them flush on a wall. The tips of the wings would hit the wall about a foot or more before the plaque does. So I had to think of another way to hang it. I thought about making a stand and just putting it on a bookcase in a corner of the room, but never got the stand made. so here is what a friend and I came up with. It hangs from the ceiling in a recessed area by my fireplace. I think it looks cool! What do you think?

Learn How to Call in an AZ Bear from the Guru

Yep, I saw you come in with the tire pressure gauge stuffed in your shirt! I think I felt more out of place in my wing-tip shoes, slacks, long-sleeve-shirt, and tie! I just got off work from my 5th grade teacher position. I did record the seminar and am considering transcribing some of his stories and posting them if anyone is interested. I just need to finish my progress reports first. I am sure many people would be interested in this, but please make sure you run it by Reed first and get his blessing. Thanks to all for the report on his seminar. Wish I had been able to make it! HyperWrx sounds like that lion seminar will be a great one too! -
Great deal!! Hopefully some CW.com'ers will take advantage of it! Thank you!

Please, please, if you can, come donate blood on Oct 12 at turn-in day at Mesa AGFD office. It's also important to sign-up in advance so they bring the right number of volunteers and equipment for the blood drive. These donations are extremely important to someone's loved one! See the attached PDF for more info on the blood drive. Or call Eddy Corona 480-529-8340. OE4A_Blood_Drive_2010.pdf

For more info, visit: This camp has been cancelled due to a lack of volunteers to run it.

I don't know anything about that particular taxidermist, so I can't help you that way. But we have several great sponsor taxidermists here....please consider giving them your business as they support this site AND do great work. Clay Goldman in Payson: http://www.mogollontaxidermy.com/index.html Wild Heritage Taxidermy in Young (but you can drop your trophy off at Jeremy's shop in Payson): http://www.wildheritagetaxidermy.com/ Weller's Wildlife in Tucson: http://www.wellerswildlifestudio.com/

Jim Mullins gave me this buck to use for a Guess the Score contest at Jeremy's archery store grand opening in Payson awhile back. But most of you didn't get up there and get to guess, so for those that didn't, you can guess now. (if you already won a prize on this or already know the score...please don't guess) Guess the GROSS score and post your guess by Tues Aug 10, 5 pm. here are pics of the buck:

Hopefully someone will take you up on your offer! -
here are some more of the bear.... I got it rolling around in the water for a bath, but you can't see it well because of the vegetation growing around the seep. but I also got a pic of the bear on another cam in a nearby spot which is probably the same bear.

Congratulations!! Nice bull and nice CW.com hat

With that much variance, I suspect you have a loose reticle inside your scope. It could be your mounts, but I doubt it. Try mounting another scope and see what happens. Bill Quimby +1 I had an old Bushnell scope do the same thing on my .270. Drove me crazy until I finally decided it was the scope and put a different one on. Shot fine after that.
