    Helping Kids

Thanks for all the info Brian! I have wondered the same thing since I carried a rifle for a friend who had some trouble navigating some small rock bluffs. It wasn't until afterwards that I wondered about the legality of helping a friend like that. Glad to know it's ok.

White Suburban at Beardsley and Cave Creek Rds

Actually I wasn't...I was on the phone with a friend when he said "hey there is a sticker". So I figured I would post it up. Were you out around Globe a few weeks ago? Someone else told me they saw a white suburban with a sticker.

    Prickly Pears are ripe!

Well, my husband has some one last prickly pear class to teach at the arboretum and he needed some pears for it so we went out tonight to get some. The pears were really fat and ripe where we went north of Globe. Saw this cool praying mantis hiding in one of the prickly pears. Sorry I only had my cell phone with me to take pics with! the fat ripe pears:

    Prickly Pears are ripe!

+1 WoooooHooooo Count me in! sounds like I need to make Ppear margaritas at some sort of CW.com gathering! YUM! Also, my husband makes some outstanding bbq sauce with the ppear juice. He boils down the juice to make a thicker sort of glaze and then mixes in some store bought bbq sauce and jazzes it up with lots of spices and it's wonderful!

    Finally got him

Awesome!! And thanks for waiting for a shot you were sure of, it takes some serious discipline to hold off on a shot with a buck like that in your scope! Congratulations!

    Prickly Pears are ripe!

Attached is a "how to" document. When we went out the other day we used some desert broom branches to brush off the pears before we picked them. Gets a lot of the spines off before you even pick them. Desert broom is that green low shrub found in the desert which makes a great hand broom. Prickly_Pear_Juice.doc

    Sadie Anderson's Buffalo

Glad the mount is progressing so well. And how cool that you got the replicas donated so Sadie could have both the boiled skull and a mount. That's GREAT! I am sure she will love it! If any of you can help Tom out, that would be great. He is already donating alot of his time and expense toward this project and a little help from all of us would help lighten the load. I will donate $20. Check will be in the mail today Tommy. Thank you for doing this project for Sadie.
