LOL!! It was a a great group of ladies (as you well know....) and although we didn't kill any turkeys on that trip, we still loved our time in the field as the picture shows!! I have that as my desktop pic now to remind me of good times....

Congratulations to you all!! Nice photos! And thanks for the well-wishes Lardog! I am getting stronger everyday!! I am jealous of all of you that got to go hunting this weekend since I had to stay home and try not to do anything strenuous.... -

Nice bucks! -
LOL!! good story!

Don't rush the final stalk. It can take hours to close the distance to within range for a bow. Good luck and just remember, most people have many, many, many unsuccessful stalks before actually getting one with a bow. It's a great challenge....have fun!

Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to scan and share those pics with us!

LOL!! is this a song you just made up or is it something we should know?? That pic is Grong waiting a nice buck to step out...it never did. That was about the only place we could get him set up prone for the long shot. I thought it looked pretty cool.

If anyone is interested in the class TJ was talking about, there will be two more. One on Aug 28 and Sept 6 at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. http://cals.arizona.edu/bta/events/pricklypears.html and fyi - I am seeing ripe pears around Globe now.

Thanks Clay! Do you have a suggestions on what to use to clean a mount off with after it's been hanging for awhile? Just a damp cloth to clean off the dust or is there some kind of spray that helps keep the coat looking better?
-
Yikes! We should have done a guess the score contest on your buck.....I don't think we have ever done that for an antelope...would have been fun! Congratulations again....very nice buck!

LOL!! Good point! My guess is AGFD will see this thread and will start working on banning the use of scat as an attractant.... -
very nice...I like that pose and the peice of wood the cat is on. Is it just the photo or does the cat not have a pupil in his right eye?
-
Outstanding!! That is so cool...archery spot and stalk antelope is just awesome! I think we can all understand the many frustrating stalks that happen before it all comes together for you to harvest your antelope! Congratulations!
-
WoW! Congratulations! I really admire those who can spot and stalk antelope!! Nicely done! You obviously worked hard for this one - it must be very satisfying to have gotten him!

That is a bizarre photo Beto! It does look like a small lion, but it also looks like it has black tips on the ears which suggests it's actually a bobcat. Either way...what are they doing hanging out with the deer? How many other pictures like that have you gotten?
