Thanks for posting the finished mount. I remember seeing that form at your shop when I was up there. You should us how you were customizing it. Looks very nice!! Did you build some habitat for it yet?

1st ever CouesWhitetail.com Bass Tournament!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Fishing
No, I don't think you have to have a boat. You are welcome to fish from shore but you are probably at a disadvantage compared to the boaters.... -
Welcome aboard! Got some pics of you with some bass? Might be a nice way to introduce yourself and I assume you are aware of our upcoming bass tournament at roosevelt on Aug 7? I hope you can make it

yes, look on the main page: http://www.coueswhitetail.com for the button ads on the righthand margin of the page to see the sponsors. to get you started, here are a few of our sponsors that I think hunt archery elk fairly often in the Flagstaff area: http://www.tlohunting.com/ http://www.wardsoutfitters.com/ http://www.rimrock-outfitters.com/ http://www.borderlandadventures.com/

LOL!! as you recall, that lucky bean wasn't so lucky for Doug either. Those are coral beans and they are toxic!! Not lucky at all apparently! You guys might also recall my husband collects these beans when he sees them and we have jars full of them. And I used the jar for a guess the number of beans contest years ago. At least someone won something and got lucky in that contest!

Scouting Camera Recommendations
CouesWhitetail replied to MangeyJoe's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Just an fyi - The bushnell trophy cam is a copy of the Covert cams which came out prior to them. The cameras are made by the same factory but under different names, so they have the same features. The Covert cams were created by a deer hunter in Kentucky and he has them built in China. However the factory in China made a deal with bushnell to essentially make the same cameras under the bushnell name. -
They may have been flying termites too....they come out and swarm after the rains begin here is a page that compares the two... http://www.pestproducts.com/flyingants.htm

ADA Deer Hunting Clinic
CouesWhitetail replied to WildHeritageTaxidermy's topic in Conservation Group Events
Great! I am sure many people will benefit from your seminar, thanks for agreeing to do that, I know it's a LONG drive for you from Young! This will be a great hunter clinic. We (the ADA) are trying to make it more of a hands-on event for new hunters. We could really use some more volunteers to help with the clinic. Specifically we need a few people to help with the rifle sighting-in portion of it. If you would like to help, please contact Rick Miller karmiller@yahoo.com -
Unfortunately that is not correct or many of us would be hunting at night. Regs state 30 minutes before sunup and 30 minutes after sunset. I think he meant if there is enough light that you can see well enough to identify your target, then it's within legal shooting hrs...generally you can't see much until 30 mins before sunrise (or 30 mins after sunset) Amanda

Welcome and thank you. I too am often amazed the generosity and character shown by people on this site.
