Glassing is using your binoculars mounted on a tripod to search the land around you for game. Climb a big hill and search with binos to find a lion is what he meant by glassing for them.

Interesting questions.....I have some friends that pick a lot of blackberries, hopefully they will see your post and respond. I have heard it's a great year for the blackberries! Seems to be a great year for everything actually. If you like saguaro fruits, they are ripening up now in most places and are quite tastey!
-
I hope you get a tag this year and I am looking forward to your hunt story. Should be interesting to hear the story from a NY'ers perspective.... If your camera has a threaded hole in the bottom of it, you could use the Tree60 camera mount that I sell to mount the cam up higher and therefore less likely to be seen. that cam mount can be found on this page: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/trail_cameras.htm
-
The tiny covert cams that I sell on CouesWhitetail.com are easier to hide and you can get that Tree60 mount to put the cameras up higher or even lower than the usual places that people search for cams. It really helps cut down on theft. As has been said it seems lockboxes just work for those not intending to steal a camera. Mounting them up high also protects them from bears without having to have a bear box.

Just to clarify....Grong had permission to post one of the sets of sheds, but he didn't get prior permission from the other owners about posting their sheds from that same buck. However, Josh assumed it would be ok because those guys had previously posted those sheds in this forum back when they found them. It's too bad...that was neat seeing all the sheds together. You just can't guess sometimes what people will be comfortable with or not, so it's always best to ask beforehand.
