Yes, it is weird. I never change mine either, but a few times a year it changes on me. I have no idea why. Try clearing your cookies like Clay said and maybe it will help. for info on how to clear cookies: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278835

So when you drop down the options box, and then click on the standard option, what happens? Just click on the text and that is how it's selected. It doesn't really highlight the box or have a check box or anything like that. Amanda

WHY I WON'T GO TO MEXICO
CouesWhitetail replied to billrquimby's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Mexico
According to the FBI that is about the same number of people murdered in the US every year (not every 3 years as your statistic was). I wonder what the per capita ratio is? I imagine the murder rate is still higher in Mexico. Amanda -
Hope you have a great day my friend!! Thanks again for supporting CouesWhitetail.com as a sponsor! Amanda

I'm having trouble also. Never have before this is what it says when I try to upload a pic. Upload failed. Please ask the administrator to check the settings and permissions Perhaps the pic is too large? There is a size limit so if you try and upload one that is too big, it won't work. What size was your photo? I think the limit is 2MB per photo, which is very large. Amanda Which forum were you in when you tried to upload the pic

Please welcome our newest sponsor - Weller's Wildlife
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in Sponsor Spotlight
Hey All, I wanted to let everyone know that Weller's Wildlife Studio in Tucson has signed up as a sponsor of CouesWhitetail.com. I met Gavin and Bud Weller in the early 90's back when they were first starting their business. It's been amazing how fast their business has grown! Weller's does outstanding taxidermy and covers all types of game. In addition to the usual Arizona Big Game species, they do a lot of work on international species like all the African Game. Weller's creates some great habitat displays to go with the mounts as well. And they can even help you design your trophy room. here are a few pics of their work: this is one that we used for a Guess the Score contest after I scored it at my house. The pics are a little too dark because the light was fading, but the mount was stellar! You can see LOTS more photos of their work on their website. Check them out!! http://www.wellerswildlifestudio.com/index.html -

Been working on the backlog all morning and hopefully you will be happy to know your hunt story is up! Your pics were already in the archery photogallery, and of course your story had been in the forum, but now it's also in the hunt story section. Thanks for taking the time to write it up and send it in. Sorry for the delay. It seems I am always behind on posting pics and stories! Congrats again on your fabulous buck. If you have other pics you want added to the hunt story page, feel free to email them to me. For those that want to read his story: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/hunt_stories/dale_gonzalez.htm And for those not familiar with the Hunt Story section on CouesWhitetail.com, here is a link to it. There are all kinds of great stories there: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/hunt_stories/hunt_stories.htm

I am not sure what you are talking about either, but if you are upset because I haven't posted the story in the hunt story section yet, I can assure you it's just that I am way behind on posting stuff. I get bogged down in lots of stuff with this site and don't get some stuff posted quickly. This week I am planning on working out the backlog of stuff I have to post and your story was one of them. Sorry for the delay, the site requires a lot of me and I am only one person. Amanda

Well, I went to the pound yesterday and got a beautiful new dog. She is a chow mix and is a real fluff ball. Very sweet and well mannered. I can't believe someone got rid of her. She is about a year old and has been well cared for, but she was at the pound for five days and they said the owner surrendered her after she was picked up on the street with some kids. So far the only two people I have asked for names have said she should be named Sunshine. I think it's a great name, but my husband is thinking perhaps we should get some sort of name that reflects her Chow background which means some sort of chinese name. Info on the breed: The Chow Chow was used by the Chinese as a working dog doing many different tasks such as a hunter of wolves, sable and pheasant, for herding, cart and sled puller, boat guard, and protection of the home. So far she hasn't played with Julie, although I sure hope she will.

Cool. The guy that wrote the article is the husband of a friend of mine. He emailed me for info on wild pigs and looks like he was able to talk to those I suggested to him! Two more CouesWhitetail.com sponsors making the paper! Amanda -

Arizona Elk Society Banquet
CouesWhitetail replied to azcouesandelk's topic in Conservation Group Events
We had a great time at the elk banquet!! Thanks to everyone who came and helped raise a lot of money for elk and wildlife habitat in Arizona!! It was a wonderful evening. Our table did fairly well winning things. It seems Eric K has a knack for winning guns! Last I heard he had won two of them! Congratulations Eric. A few others won some items in the silent auction and I will let them tell you what they got. Christian was busy working the auction! He was a flagger and when it came to auctioning off a very unique hat, he was the model also! Here he is in action (I think Chef has a better pic that he will hopefully post also). The banquet was very well attended with 570 people there. Those are great numbers for a banquet in this economy!! Everything was well organized and they had some great live auction, silent auction and raffle items. Congratulations yet again to the AES for another successful banquet!! Your hard work really shows. Oh and the commissioner's elk tag sold for 100k! That's cheaper than some years but still a nice chunk of change for wildlife habitat! Amanda -
Looks great! Nice deer too! Amanda
