Blood Drive and Magazine Drive for the troops
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in Conservation Group Events
Hey All, Outdoor Experience 4 All is working with AGFD to have a blood drive at the Mesa office on Turn-in Day Feb 9. The Red Cross would like people to make a committment to fill the 48 slots so they know how many staff to send. So if you think you can go give blood, call the red cross (1-800-GIVE-LIFE) and let them know so they can plan accordingly. If you don't signup in advance, you can still go give blood, but it's just easier for them to plan if you let them know. I would think it would be easy to get at least 48 people out of all the hunters that go to that office on turn-in day! Outdoor Experience 4 All has a special committment to this blood drive because one of the young ladies that hunts with them has received 131 blood transfusions so far in her short life. So please, help this lady out and give some blood!! In addition OE4A will be coordinating a magazine drive for the troops. Bring your old magazines to any AGFD office on Feb 9 and they will be sent overseas to give the troops something to enjoy. So dig out your magazines and throw them in your truck so you will have them with you when you go to AGFD! See the attached documents for more info. took a drive up to Salt River canyon to see if it had much snow left and it only had a little left on the tops. some mtns north of Globe: Julie got to play in the deep snow. It was over 4 feet deep, but she only sank in a foot or two. I was sinking to my thighs and still not touching the ground. here is some video of Julie in the snow...should make you laugh out loud or at least put a smile on your face. She had to use her "tigger" bounce to get around. She could only do so many leaps before she had to stop and rest. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/video_clips/julie_in_snow.wmv

Coues Deer Celebration 5 (no, it's not a new one)
CouesWhitetail posted a topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Hey All, With all the big bucks this year, I was thinking of some from last year. Most of them are in the Coues Deer Celebration 5 video. For those that have joined the forum in the last year, you might not have watched this video yet. Basically what I did was take over 200 photos and some video all submitted by forum members last year and set it to music to make a mini-movie. It's lots of fun to watch the year in review so to speak. I haven't made a new one since this one (am behind on it!), but you might still appreciate the old one. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/video_clips/...lebration_5.wmv Enjoy!! Amanda
