San Carlos is an awesome place to hunt. And yes, it can be very hard to get a Coues tag out there. They sell out the day they go on sale which means you have to be in line there or get a tribal guide to get in line for you. Since you don't know the rez, you might consider hiring a guide. They certainly can make your hunt more successful. As to whether you should hunt there or Mexico. I say hunt both Amanda

I like the soup idea. On a cold day I bet it's a real treat. I usually pack a whole wheat or multi grain bagel and some cheese sticks. Some granola bars, jerky, maybe some peanutbutter crackers. Maybe a bag of wheat thins. The bagel doesn't get crushed as easier as regular bread. If I think I will be really hungry I pack a summer sausage stick. I like those elk and bison ones that sportsmans carries. Amanda
