Yes, I believe it's 48 hrs before ANY big game hunt, but I don't have the law in front of me. It's not just 48 hrs before your hunt, but any hunt. Best suggestion is to call AGFD and ask or try and find the actual regulation on their website. If anyone has the actual wording, please post it here. Amanda

Eddy Corona called to tell me he has received the donation of a couple of Whitetail tags for Unit 31. He is looking for kids that are interested in that hunt and also guys that can help guide the kids. To be eligible for the hunt, the child has to between ages 10-17, have taken hunter ed, and meet one of these criteria: 1. Have some sort of disability or illness (life-threatening or not), 2. Be a child of a fireman, policeman or military person who has died. It's actually the October hunt. Oct 23-29, but they will likely only do the kids' hunts over the weekend Fri 10/23 to Sun 10/25. That is during my WT hunt in 27, so I can't help out, but for those that are interested, please email Eddy at corona2000@aol.com or call him at 480-529-8340. Amanda
