Your best bet at this point is decide what you are most confident shooting at this point. Sounds to me you seem to like your older arrow setup better. I would stick with it until you can get with a shop or someone to help you out. Or spend some time reading up on bow tuning or just keep asking here I'm sure everyone here will do what they can to help. But you need to be confident in you equipment that's the most important.

icc 400 grains ?? or did you mean ICS 400's Depending on his draw and poundage the 400s may not work.

Your bow will need to be tuned for the carbon arrows they are lighter and smaller so they need to be tuned. Your bow is quieter with the aluminum's because they are heavier. The carbons will work great if they are the proper spline just need a little work.

I live by talcum bottle when I hunt, especially with a bow. But a good puff of fine dirt works also +1 I carry 2 bottles

I have heard around 1600. I just picked up the alphamax just when I thought they couldn't make a better bow they come out with this. I would stay with the Alfamax I think its a better shooting bow then the carbon bow. But whatever you do don't go shoot the Maxxis then you will be saying "Just when I thought they couldn't make a better bow."

+1 Was told by a Forest Service guy pack it in pack it out with you. They will pull tree stands. He said he gives 24hours but they can pull them as soon as they find them if they are unoccupied.

I got the first post you deleted asking if it as the Clayton buck so I figured it was not just a good guess. azcoues33 did not respond with what unit it came from when the guy asked if it came from 34 because he told Kieth he would not post it. But its a big unit and that deer is already dead so it does not really matter anyways. And it's a Texas hog. I try to stay away from Cali as much as I can it's going to fall in the ocean some day!
