Ok bud - thanks for the input. I'm simply sharing what I found and the reasoning behind my suspicions. Believe it or not. I could give a shoot.

That was my first thought. However I think the deer did it. It was middle of nowhere so would have been an illegal that did it. It had other scrapes on the cactus at that area that had healed. If a person did it I'm not sure I would see that. Lastly, the match was within eyesight. So, the person could have done it twice. I'm leaning toward the buck shed one, had an unbalanced head, and solved the problem immediately. But who knows.

When in public in summer I pocket carry a Ruger LCP. It's an 8-10 yard gun but that's fine for what I would use it for. In winter it's an IWB Kahr CW40. The LCP is a great concealed little bugger that I likely carry the most.....

I was fortunate to have had a chance at this buck with the AZ heat last week and the moon. Extremely poor movement during the day and it was a grind. Scouting him in the summer and he was the #2 buck. Found this guy up and feeding in the evening in the heat for the first time in 3 days. Got set up, he fed my way, and I made a poke. 6.5 PRC, 130 Berger VLD. He's 1/4" shy of 30" wide...

I didn't know Savages came with McGowen barrels, punched Ackley, and with complimentary Lapua brass.... Keep it classy as usual...

All that is left is the RL-19...

Don't do 16". The muzzle blast is really bad once you start getting below 18" or so. 18-20" is perfect for a calling rifle. Mine are all 18" and are absolutely perfect....

Yes. Amongst other CS issues in the last few years with multiple high dollar top end optics. I do not own anything Swarovski any longer. There are options that are 99 percent of their glass for less $ and as good as it gets CS...

That's where you turn on the satellite overlay and look at the aerial maps not the mapped OnX roads. Easy peasy...

Not sure how this is possible. I've blindly found hanging meat miles in with only an OnX point, in the dark. OnX is one of those things once you have it you realize you cannot go without. Game changer.
