He's around 180". And no where near as big and bad as desert bucks come,but a solid deer nonetheless....

Vortex is junk.... Even a crown I wouldn't expect that bad of groups at 100.... Scope, mounts in that order....

6-12 inches at 100 screams scope or mounting issue...

I shoot the same bullet in my .280 Ackley Lance with H4831. It's a good combo. I'd shoot that load at distance which I know you likely are and you may be done...

Some stripper would remove it. Priced accordingly Scope looks perfect other than paint. Duplex reticle. $150... 2) Middle - Leupold VX2 3-9x40 CDS, duplex, matte. Scope has never been mounted. Cannot find a blemish. $225...
