Great job bud!

I've got a Tikka T3 lite stainless in .243 and could throw in a Harris swivel bipid. Load data provided. It's a tack driver with 80 TTSX at 3,380... It's in great shape....

Good luck bud -

I'd ditch the 7 SAUM unless you have a brass hoard. You'll also have issues with max OAL in factory Mag stuff with the heavies unless you plan on giving up case capacity which defeats the purpose..... I'd run a #2 in a sako hunter Edge at 22". I'd chamber in 6.5 GAP 4S with that bolt face. You can throat for the 130 bergers and run factory box... Unless you are going to run custom mags you are limiting your options in that platform...

I age all my stuff, even pre ground burger for 7-10 days. World of difference...
-
The Outfitter isn't associated with the Elkhorn... He just camps right there and hunts the surrounding country....
-
I'd consider a .204 Ruger twisted fast for 40's through 55's.... Meets all your requirements...

Had to go see for myself what his place was all about. Holy deer, turkeys, and pigs.... Bud smoked a super buck on opening evening...

My $0.02 is it should be illegal to hunt without a bipod. I've seen more wounded animals and missed shots to a poor rest then anything else. Thanks for the early morning laugh! I think magnums should be illegal too based on that hilarious line of thinking...

That's with a 20 ounce scope too. ReLly, really easy. More important than light, they are well balanced. For starters, drop the bipod.

Mine are all 6.5-7.5 all up with optics...

Guys, I'm looking for a shop to install a leveling or small lift to my '06 Tundra. Any recommendations?
-
I do.... I was literally fixing to list it.... Call me today at some point and I'll get you all details and photos.
-
Pretty perfect all around hunting rifle here folks....
-
Usually lots of Dec tags in C. I think 125.
-
I've had two VX6 scopes. Neither tracked nor RTZ properly... I'd roll NF or SWFA...
-
I wouldn't bivy near the res. The bad guys work all those ridgetops. I am a backpacking dude but I'd think twice.
-
Mounts, rings, scope, crown, or bedding in that order. All easy to check.

Unbelievable bull... Super job...
-
Either 80 Berger or 140 Accubond...
-
Grin.... That's what causes energy right?
-
Only cartridges I've killed coues deer with are the .22-250 Ackley or 7-08....
-
.338 lapua....grin....

Lots of Field and Stream readers who need to stop reading magazines and go kill stuff and figure stuff out. Stuff ain't too complicated unless you wanna make it so. I can see calculators in the field doing some math real fast to make sure that deer at 300 yards will die (as Kentucky windage is calculated probably.) Energy is really far down this list of stuff to worry about when killing something.

Turn the die down more. Then keep trying to chamber. When it does, lock it in place. Keep sizing. I check about every 10th one....
