Only cartridges I've killed coues deer with are the .22-250 Ackley or 7-08....

Lots of Field and Stream readers who need to stop reading magazines and go kill stuff and figure stuff out. Stuff ain't too complicated unless you wanna make it so. I can see calculators in the field doing some math real fast to make sure that deer at 300 yards will die (as Kentucky windage is calculated probably.) Energy is really far down this list of stuff to worry about when killing something.

Turn the die down more. Then keep trying to chamber. When it does, lock it in place. Keep sizing. I check about every 10th one....

Nice guess. You can get close but a # 3 varies significantly by manufacturer let alone what it is shanked..... And with that stock at 26", it's probably muzzle heavy, hence the questions.... If it's a Krieger, someone got an absolute steal...

I didn't even want the rifle. I just don't get sellers ignoring questions. He stated who chambered the barrel. They gunsmith in Prescott manufactured the barrel or do they buy from someone else?

I gave a 4 full door truck, older body style. I have a dark gray truck but if you have any color I'll listen. These are apparently hard to find. If anyone has one, knows where to get one, or has any advice on how to find one, please let me know. Thanks -

Hey guys - Thought you guys might like to see some live shots and some photos of some of the deer my brother has been watching this year. It's gonna be a great year for him. These are just a very small sampling of the big deer he has located. Free range, low fence, Texas deer. Hope you guys enjoy....

Should be no issue. My wife has taken multiple cows in the last few years with a 7 lb. 7-08 and 140 Etips. She doesn't like recoil either.

If that's the case I'd try to glass the doe herds which are significantly easier to find. There will be little guys with them....

Really tough rifle hunt if you are looking for anything decent....shots could be far.

Usually the person who has spent the most $$$$. But we do have some pretty knowledgable/experienced people here. It's honestly as easy as those who can shoot. Bullets are way more important than headstamps. butt shots with lots of "energy" is just that...
