  1. Selling my used NF NXS 5.5-22x56 C434. MOA, Zero stop, High speed, illumination, MOAR reticle. Comes with original box, original bikini cover, and sunshade. It is used, but far from abused. There are ring marks. Glass is perfect. There is a small scratch on the parallax adjustment knob (pictured) and a small mark on the ocular lens housing (pictured). I live in Mesa, but travel all over the valley for work. Asking 1500 OBO.

  2. Just wanted to fill some in and give a reason why people are being called due to "bad credit cards".

I got a call the thursday following the CC change date. I had fraud on my card. I called chase and told them the charge was not me. They canceled my card that instant. I explained my situation and they said they would leave online charges open until April. I also called the Azgfd and explained to them. I am out of the country right now and can not receive phone calls. I left another contact for AZGFD in case I was drawn. On top of all this I put in 7 people for elk and 3 for antelope. I have yet to take any hits or calls. 3 of the elk were cow tags, every person was on their own application. I hope there is still hope. I find it hard to believe no hits from any of those. I have 18 lope points, 8 elk, and my dad has 16 elk points. We had a decent chance. Time will tell. Keep posting what you guys hear, as this is how I am able to get info outside of the country.

I have several opened and unopened boxes of bullets for 338 and 30 cal. All of these are for long range shooting. I am really looking for trade on reloading supplies I will consider cash, but would rather hold out, hoping for something I need.

    List for bullets as follows:

    338
300gr Nosler AccuBond (NAB) (pn: 54851) qty: 45
300gr Sierra Match King (SMK) (pn: 2675) qty: 39

  5. How much work was it geting the boat in the water? The last time I was at the San Carlos G&F (early March), they said it was 0.03% full. I always prefered to fish for crappie at Carlos in the submerged trees close to shore than troll with the crowds. I'm wondering if there are any trees in the water yet

  6. Everything has been good advice so far. Some deals can be had on used gear, entire kits and single pieces. I would suggest buying plenty of manuals. They have a lot of good info, in addition to loads, on techniques. It is also very handy to have a few sources to cross reference. One load book isn't the end all, be all. Another thing to think about is a cronograph, if you don't alredy have one. If you are mainly doing bolt action rifle loads, a powder trickler is the hot ticket. For me, electronic scales are useless. I would start small. You will find things you like to use and others you don't. I like hand primers, some guys don't. You can do a lot of "e-reloading" reading on forums. It is free and yuu can learn a lot, especiallly from other peoples' mistakes.

  7. I have used several sets. They are what I prefer to use If I don't go with a rail. They may not be any more sturdy than the old Leupold ring/base combo, but I'm not second guessing myself down the road when my groups open up. They eliminate one point of attachment, the point where most Leopolds loosen up, the ring to the base. Maybe it is just me, but I hate the windage screws on the Leupold bases.
