i shoot the easton axis, i like them alot, they fly like little darts for me. i know they just came out w/ one called a full metal jacket, and i think they are cheaper than the acc's, they might be worth a look. i guess they are the normal axis in a metal jacket, not sure how they are different from the acc

i have a browning a-bolt synthetic stainless, its not for sale but i like it alot. Its done very well on a coues, some muleys and a lope. its light weight, and a tackdriver

my cousin uses a ruger no. 1 in a 7stw, stainless laminate, he likes it other than the trigger, i guess its pretty hard to change or lighten i haven't looked into it too much though. He's never complained about the weight, caliber, or anything besides the trigger pull

This was my first big animal, before this the biggest thing I ever shot was a rabbit. I was 10 and I was shooting a 243 I was afraid of the 7mag. My dad said I didn't have to shoot the 7mag if I was good enough with the 243. I was shooting less than 3 inch groups at 100 yards. I saw more bulls on this hunt than I had ever seen on any other. I had a huge 6x6 stare me down at 50 yards, he was storting and scarping the dirt, I was on the ground so that was cool. I probably had shots on 5-7 different bulls befor I had one on a cow. The cow I shot was with two giant bulls who hung around 20 minutes after I shot her, still to this day I think those two bulls were bigger that any ive seen in real life. I made a heart shot at 100 yards. She dropped in 10 yards. Looking back now it was really cool watching my dad, and how happy he was. I know now why he was so happy, I took my younger sister hunting pigs last year and I felt the same way when she shot hers.

well for the times i do get drawn im setting up my new rifle a rem 700 sps 300 ultra, i put in a timney trigger and its at the gunsmith getting a vanhorn muzzlebrake, soon to have a swarovski 6-18x50 tds-4 (i still have to save a little more)i have 180 accubonds waiting on the bench. for glasses i usually get to use my dad's leica geovids (i love em) and swaro 15x56 on a manfrotto tripod. All it in the badlands 2200,But i'm gettin really good at runnin off the coues w/ my mathews switchback w/ easton axis and G5 montecs.

i shoot the G5 montec 100 grain. THey fly really good for me, really easy to sharpen. Most of my family shoots them and i started and i like em alot. they did a good job on my javelina, I have yet to shoot a deer w/ them but i can't wait untill archery season

i saw some of that filson tin cloth at the sportsmans wharehouse on greenfield next to the camo, it looks like good stuff, they have something to wear over pants that go up around your thigh, looks like pretty good stuff.

i use the hornady books the most (the two pack) it is a little more money than some of the others but they have a ton of info in them. The second book calculates bullet drop from every bullet with just about any speed obtainable. it also has alot of the newer rounds in it (WSM's WSSM"S ultra's) The intro is great. It has a ton of color pictures on how to get started. The sportsmans wharehouse sometimes has an opened one on the shelf.

i have a 223 wssm and varmit call alot, and it will do a number on yotes. even at 300 yards. I shoot a 55 gr v-max at a lil under 4000fps, faster than a 220 swift, I always thought about it for coues but never have used it, I know the 25-06 does great on coues. My 25-06 has shot 3 coues and 1 lope w/ 100 gr core-lokt's.I can't complain about that caliber one bit, it also shot a couple of mulies and one javelina

thnx for the info guys, i'll probably have to look harder at the accubond and the tsx, i also just saw that they are making a 165 gr. triple shock in the 300 for 2006

i recently purchased a 300 ultra, rem 700, mostly for coues and lopes, maybe a few muleys. I have also started recearching bullet choices. i know i want a 180'ish gr. for the best BC i can get. i have been looking at the hornady SST, nosler balistic tip, nosler partition, swift scriacco. I've decided against the barnes tripple shock. I know they shoot great but i know people who havent had the greatest luck on coues w/ them.any info would help thanx

I know there was some talk about some CouesWhitetail.com t-shirts and some low profile hats coming to the store in the future. I was wondering when we could expect them or if some more of the tan hats would be availaible
