Anyone have experience moving silver dollars? The little research I’ve done is all over the map. I have some 90% silver dollars.

7mm Backcountry Build
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Couple of groups from today. Shot about 24 rounds all under 1” at 3034 fps with Es of 10. 18.5 barrel 175 federal fusion. some groups got lost in the testing, long day of testing repairs and new barrels. -
Came across some good deals on parts and decided to put another one of these together. Shooting some paper next week to see how she does. lightly used 7mm 1:8 barrel cut down and rechambered at 19” long and added 5/8 24 4 port Ti brake. Timney trigger 1.4 lbs Rem 700 trued and lapped with .250 lug, scope base and action bedded to MDT chassis with 3 rnd mdt 30/06 mags cip length for those 195 bergers. Weighed in at 11 lbs no scope right where I like em. Planning to test with Can as well putting the over all length under 26in with can.

TBAC RR (I make a flat conversion for this so best of both worlds) Yankee Hill Bad Larry Dillon Rifle is coming out with a printed Ti 30 cal as well. I believe based off a tested 50 cal rated can. Their new micro venting is really slick.

This goes back to a post I made a few months back, you have to understand where these scopes are made, when your in the under 500.00 dollar range you get China, with all the brands if your not in the American or Japan made price range you get mass produced products all coming from the same few factories in China most likely. No one can make a scope that’s decent for a low price, zero compromise named theirs right. Quality is top notch but your not getting it for 599.99

I can say that the Mark 4 and Mark 5 I own are perfect on tracking out to 800 real world use. I will post when I get them in the test board.
