Know the feeling, thanks guys. Me and edge are working on his family gun with more history that the dead sea scrolls. I'm sure Tim would like to keep the stock barrel is why we were going the reamer and re chamber route. I did some TLC on the stock and barrel and put a new scope on her , shooting Monday will be the tell on weather the throat is shot out or not. Hard to check on a model 88. To be continued.

I have another Healy Kudo, I am lucky to work where we have gun raffles regularly and we announce on the loudspeaker the winner of the gun. Very cool in these times. Healy sells us the guns and helps us out.

Volume or weight? I'm shooting 75 by weight or 95 by volume aprox. Sounds like too much. -

I am thinking you may be correct, I know they say to keep the same patter no matter how you do it like clean every shot or every 2 or 3 or whatever but more important is what works, seems like 2 shots on a super clean bore works really well for me. Each time I go out I get 2 really good shots then it goes to heck no matter what I do. I hope its not the heat in the barrel. So I have one more test run with a clean barrel and breach then its hunt time. Luckily all flyers have still been in 3 or 4 in range so kill zone is ok at 100 yards. I have 2 breach plugs so in the field if needed I will swap plugs and scrub barrel before any more shots. Pops is a really good trigger guy so I wont need it but i will be ready. Good luck all muzzy hunts, shoulder still hurts. LOL -

Me no like muzzy. My shoulder hurts and flyers are frequent. Shot 12 rnds 162 yrds with other guns and 5 with the muzzy. 2 big holes next to each other low right of bull were first 2 shots clean barrel and breach. Other 3 big holes are flyers on 3rd shot 4th shot then clean and 5th. Guess I'll shoot 2 then swap breach and clean barrel. I used 75 b grns by weight 209 loose and CCI 209 mag primers. 250 grn horny SST. Only need one shot anyway right?
