Dove hunt, private dairy Phoenix
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to bowhunter4life's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
So 4 guys for 300.00? Or 300. Each? -
Come on now, no need to call me entitled. If you actually knew me you'd know how silly that notion is. Like I said, no intention to just go "do what I want". I'll do my research and if it's wrong, I'll gladly leave them at home and still hike back into the wilderness with a smile on my face to hunt. You claimed to know the rules well you missed this and continued to try to put your spin on the rules as stated. Well I read it this way. I believe is your argument. Anyway I just don't want to see wild areas taken over by the masses. Its nice and quiet and beautiful. Just want it to stay that way. The main advertisers on wilderness searches are usually leave no trace adds. If we read into this which I have it is very clear how to treat the land. I will admit the rules are scattered but I wasn't sure so I called more than 1 agency and they all answered no game cams. I was looking into outfitting and this was a revenue source so I asked what I could and could not do while working in wilderness areas.

muzzleloader supplys
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have 200 grn sabot 50 cal right now. This will be my first ever shot taken with a muzzy so we will see how it shoots -
Leave no trace. Means pack it in pack it out. Call fs office and they will tell the same. These areas are supposed to be where those who are able and want to work hard can go and enjoy gods creation without seeing junk people strapped to a tree. Seems like common sense to me but I guess entitle your self and do what you want.

muzzleloader supplys
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Just bullets and powder. Not much sellection at cabelas. Need 45 grn triple 7 whites -
that's hilarious! This is all fun and games as long as everyone remembers who the real enemy is. The anti hunting liberals love to see hunters fight amongst themselves and they love to point out how many hunters bend the laws for their benefit, further demonizing us. I'm hearing this discussion a lot in the hunting community. Big push from conservation groups for hunters to support each other even if they don't agree with what other hunters do or say. I notice game and fish eating up billboards as well.

oh no the cwt police are gonna school you on wilderness areas and trail cams now. Oh you got that right, if you don't know the rules in wilderness areas don't go in them. No cameras allowed. GPS coordinates of any cams in wilderness will be sent to fs and they will be confiscated. That's what I've been told anyway by the wilderness police

I went with the 48 souly based on field of view. I don't carry binos most times backpacking so since the 48 has much better fov I gave up the 12x on power

I looked at that 4b tag I think a few years ago. That's up near Winslow right? Archery only I believe due to ranches up there but thought it looked fun

MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Mesabulls's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Couple years ago we got stuck in our tent for 32 hours and almost lost my mind. Hail, snow, sleet, rain non stop. Was really nice after that but we only had 1 day to hunt. Edge Almost died in there last year. Maybe not almost died but almost missed heha reruns -

Cool, dad drew a muzz deer tag and we don't own one. This will be my first. Going to be some learning curve. Dad built a flintlock 33 years ago but never shot it. He's excited. Can't wait to surprise him with this. -

No chit, I don't know much about lopes but I know enough that that first one is wide and tall. If he has diggers he may be record book -
In my opinion this and many many things just like it we are talking about money to enforce commun sense. High traffic areas cost money, the more people cone in and wreck high traffic areas the more they cost so the more money needs to be raised. The there manpower to enforce so when there is none they shut down instead of Adding manpower or more revenue to add manpower. Both of which piss people off. Anyway its population growth, can't avoid it for ever. Just head up on a holiday weekend to a popular spot on Tuesday after holiday and see what fs is dealing with. Your camp may leave no trace but the majority on those weekends are somewhat different

I didn't know they had gun shows over there. Total respect for your service buddy.

Signage is pretty good for fee areas. If you dont see signs no fees. Usually there are several signs in fee areas
