Fr 751 is closed for improvements at the lake. No idea why they need to close 4 miles of road from the lake? Makes no sense since they are working at the lake end. We were up yesterday and everything was open that we went by. We drove fr300 fr141 fr308 and control road below the rim.

I would say no prob, we drove fr300 yesterday and it was nice. Seems very dry up there.

Made it out to the lake for the first trip this year, very windy and slow fishing on wed afternoon. Crank battery was dead so delayed us getting on the water but not for long, it was quiet other than the wind. Pops landed the first fish, a nice 4 ounce bluegil. Lol I had number 2 with a 3 lb sriper then a nice whitebass. We caught a few more whites on crank baits then nothing. Lake is completely full right now. I hopped in for a 30 min swim and man was it cold. First time in a long time I saw zero boils. I think next wed we are going to toss the throw net for some shad then see how the striper bite is?

Good deal , watch out for 74. They are paving so it down to 1 lane. I sat for 30 min to turn into the lake

Woodworkers source on i17 between bell and union hills in phx will have what you need and they are top of the line with all things woodworking. Home depot also has clear epoxy you can use. You will need to mount something underneath to hold the material then mix and pour it in. You can sand it level then re ally top coat to get clear finish again . then I would laqure the whole deal all sides.

Very true. If you didn't have that early elk tag you wouldn't be so cocky. Lol I did eek out a 3 miler last night with bruised ribs and a 12 hour shift at work and a cold. Rfp

Try having 4 days a week off!!!! Man I have been fighting a nasty cold this last week, I still made a few runs but my whole plan is off. No train to hunt for me this year. I also managed to throw myself on the ground and bruise some ribs so sneezing is all the workout I need. LOL I think Wed I am going to do some baitcaster curls with my dad then maybe I can swim for a bit and get it moving again. I really miss going to the gym a few days a week but my new schedule doesnt fit with the gym.
