I believe they can only block road access, we can heli drop in there and hunt the trust as long as we don't cross their land. -

Super sweet congrats. -
Better than going close would be to go do it on your deer and elk spots. Just get a squeek toy from pet smart and head out there.

There is a new hoard going on right now with this new ban on green tip crap. I know Flagstaff is having issues for sure. My buddy came down today and asked for some from me since they had zero in flag.

Sometime I play a little mental game and it helps with the food crap, Guys at work buy doenuts all the time and I have not had one in several years so its fun in situations like that to refuse certain foods and then its like an instant conversation starter. Most people who know me know I eat very well, not only great gourmet food but healthy as well and they are not surprised but everyday people always make comments so its like a game to see what new comments i can get from not eating some items or drinking other items. I put in my mind I will never do certain thing or eat certain things and it becomes easy to refuse. Believe me I am the minority of the folks around me and its easy to get conversation about not eating fast food for 4 years or not eating dohnuts for more than 5. One of my favorite is pizza on the company, I have not taken food from the company functions in 8 years and when the overeated dudes show up at my desk at thanksgiving and find me eating a salad and posting on coues they get it going pretty good. LOL Keep that in mind, its not easy but I have not had fast food other than subway in many many years.

2014 Coues Deer Kill Distances Poll
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Little Creek Calls's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I agree, unit 27 late rifle of choice is 338 lapua with 32 power scope. -
My buddy pulls a Coleman bumper type and its like 20 ft or more. 5 of us had dinner in there and it was roomy. He has same truck and pulls it all over. It looms way big for the truck but it works.

2014 Coues Deer Kill Distances Poll
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Little Creek Calls's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
We are just casting opinions here. In the end to each their own. Think about this though that deer at 900 yards chose to be there and you chose to find him from 900 and couldn't get closer for whatever reason so I say the deer used it placement to avoid you. If you couldn't get closer how do you go get the downed animal or even find it for that matter? I was on a hunt where the animal was killed at 150 and it took an hour to find it. Hey if you nailed on at 900 i would help ya find it clean it and haul it out I just wouldn't do it that way myself. Don't mean I'm going to keep my mouth shut if the discussion comes up. Few more weeks till credit card hits!!! -
We got destroyed in wickenburg. Came down hard like monsoon. Muck boots are back out.

2014 Coues Deer Kill Distances Poll
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Little Creek Calls's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
There is no argument that the vast majority of the hunting community believes that long range hunting is not hunting. I agree completely with boone and crocket on this. Even the CEO of berger bullets agrees with them. Its just a fact that there is no sport in it. Now to decide what exactly is the distance where it becomes no longer sport? I say 300 max after that put out targets. Just because you can doesn't make it a good idea.
