Man that's cool, I have been calling yotes from my side property wall and getting them close but they won't break the brush and give me a shot. I get several close all the time. I have my bow ready but haven't got a shot yet. Its helping my hand calling a lot.

Last I saw you can load another round in a bolt? I think they hold like 2 or 3 at a time. I run an axis .223 and it is lights out. I would find one bare and buy a low power scope, tough to locate target in a 3 power. Maybe find a good 1.5 for an ar so when you upgrade you will have it

Number one for me is solitude. I don't care about deer as much as seeing no people. Second to that is scouting, right now I am hunting deer where I have a pig tag so I look for my pig herds and take my bow along. Being new to this I have very few "spots" so I am always probing new country. Since starting to hunt recently I have seen more of this state than I did the previous 35 years. I love this state.
