Archery backpack Javi / Deer hunt
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Hey! I'm in the market for some boots. How do you like the browtine so far? Is the shank to stiff? or the ankle support to high to kneel comfortably on a stalk? Check out the post on these in other gear forum, Proslayer had some issues with his but mine have been solid so far and I have gone through some nasty rocky stuff and have like 20 plus mile in them so far, I cant say anything bad at all, first day out hiked 10 miles with 35lb pack and never broke them in. I will keep updating other gear post as I wear them more. I would not want to hike with Proslayer I can say that much. LOL -
nice job and way to work hard, looks like you hit him with an exploding broadhead. lol

Unit 27 December Hunt, last minute success!
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to ScottAdams's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
great hunt and commitment, congrats. -
blm is a decent map and shows regular detail like roads trais but most important is private land, northern part of 20b is no big deal but down around lake pleasant and up by yarnell there is alot of landlock on the main access points. i have seen javi sign going in on most of the main roads all over that unit.

I have the v4.5.0 and have the serial number, If we cant get it to work I can give you mine, I dont use it much anymore and dont have anything saved in it. I never sprung for a decent GPS so never tied the two together. Send me PM and I will bring to work tomorrow and have the info with me

Great streak and way to change plans when needed. to bad your area is getting so much traffic but sounds like they will just keep pushing them around and not shooting them anyway.
-
Nice job, not bad at all. Cant wait to shoot my first
-
i will check mine at home tonight, i should have serial number

Very nice, Archery not passing that one ever.

the national geographic trails maps are good and i pair that with the blm land ownership map for blm. i hunted that unit last year and found where 2 herds were living but never closed the deal. i was in the southern portion of 20b and land was locked up quite a bit. blm map helps.

I agree, I went to the meetings when this was in the works and voiced this concern but it wasnt going to make any difference. I believe there wont be much change in participation on like deer and elk but you most likely will see a drop on some of the other game like Javi, fishing, bird stamps, etc since the extra money folks would normally put towards that stuff they will not want to after paying the bill to put in for Elk and others. Just a funny thing I saw when leaving the office yesterday with my tags was they had 5 or 6 brand new still shrink wrapped boats in the yard not being used. Wonder why the revenue is off. LOL
