Actually the firearms industry is one of the worst for helping gunsmiths out. It’s hard to even get an optics footprint from the manufacturer. I usually just reverse engineer what I need and make my own models.

This is one of the items the ATF is working internally now. They changed the paperwork to have personal info on the front page the theory was it was so they could film or phot that during inspection which is illegal but that’s the theory. They are now possibly working to move it back to the middle to be safe.

Only if you don’t have a CCW. With a CCW in a lot of states including AZ the only trail of the transaction is on paper and stays with the FFL.
