MULEPACKHUNTER posted a topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Sister has a 9 month old chocolate lab with papers , on the larger end for size out of a litter of 3. Looking to breed one time before getting fixed and work out deal on offspring. Pics if anyone is interested. -

We're getting beat pretty bad in our unit, sitting water all day but the elk are only hitting in the dark last 2 days. We can glass them on the water then they move off 30 minutes before light. We have a new stand further from water the way they move out so we will see.

Stove kicked some serious but this morning. Walked around in shorts and t shirt.

Haha snow that's funny. Hunted in shorts today. 2 tree stands set up and spent 2 hours on a blind near water this afternoon. Between the three should see something. Spent about 1 hour on some cows and spikes this morning but stupid spikes stayed on the far side of the cows. Fun deal though.

It's on tomorrow boys, packing up tonight for an early departure, 10 miles in to avoid people and blocked roads. Good luck to all starting hunts Friday, this will be day 16 or so of hunting for me this year since January. Very lucky this year.

Hahah ya everyone I run into or knows I have mules thinks mules for hunting would be soo great but trust me it's like having 2 five year old kids in camp, you can't trust them, you worry about them, you have to feed them, water them, move them, they will kill you if they get the chance, you name it. Haha

Good deal, a lot of firsts this year good to see -
Oh man that sucks, during our hunt we had 2 javelons out as I was teaching my buddy his first deer and I poked him with mine, I was using mine as a pointer and he reached the same time I did , very minor but ya use caution. Also the day we were leaving out my wife calls and she hacked herself trying to get the pit out of the avocado, don't hold the avocado in your hand when you swing the fife into it!!! Set it down first Very cool those guys could help you out

I hear you man, even after some crazy mileage hunting this weekend on the way out 10 miles I felt like a kid, we just blew through the climbs and rocked out a 3.4 mile an hour avrg. I was super light though with the mules hauling the weight. But the main thing is it's nice to be ready and not hurting and suffering through hikes.
