Hybrid workout today, snuck into a buddy's unit, backpack in about 9 miles with a 1.5 detour. Dropped packs and gear for this weeks hunt, jogged and hiked 10 miles out to truck and made it to sushi dinner date back in town by 8pm. Good fing day

Ya dude, dad lost 7 lbs in a week, he's talking lifetime license now, ???? Guess he didn't mind the lack of bucks.

Going out one last day on dads tag, although we had a great trip and packed tons of activity in we didn't see one buck. Tons of does and babies running around and tons of hunters driving but no bucks. My eyes are toast after 7 days of glassing. Snuck in some repairs on dads RV and caught some of the World Series as well. Fingers crossed one more day and a new area will do the trick.

It's a wrap, few more does spotted but not one buck.

I wonder if that would work on this stinky dude I'm working next to today?? -
Of course I get you there, sorry you can't do that. I'm lucky I do a lot with my dad.
-
Uh epic, no. Not even close. Epic would be shooting a deer. Close to epic would be maybe seeing one.

7 days of hunting last week but took my gym bag with me, made 3 days of runs and we hiked every day of course, I loaded my pack heavy while I was with pops going slow. Dropped some weight for sure, had to put a belt on my work pants this morning. Gym bags in the truck with a head lamp for the white tanks tonight.

Just can't win, ticked off when someone drives into your hunting area even though your parked there and ticked of when a guy try's to keep someone from driving in to his spot!!!! I can see someone getting fed up, 20a was a mess this week, if you don't think there's too many roads in the forest try 20a deer hunt.

What happened today on the opener? ANYONE?
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to grey curse's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Hot and dry, had a hundred yard 5 minute dance with a small buck but passed, cut our backpack short due to no water in springs or tanks. One spring I've never heard of being dry!!! Crazy, we glassed a tank from about 600 yards and watched 2 other sets of guys glass same water. Super dry -
Backpack is loaded up here, driving to the trailhead soon for a long walk in. I'll be waking up on my glassing tit. Good luck to all

It would be a crime to try and reduce that price. Great deal, do you ever go for grouper? We have good friends that have a place in choya and we used to go down a lot, always a good time.
