You have issues buddy
-
I got a hit for $90 from Bank of America so I know that my two kids that I put on the same app are drawn. However, I put myself in for a hunt that I should be guaranteed to draw and I haven't gotten hit for the $45 yet. Making me a little nervous...Thought you were guaranteed that draw Kenny? Hope you get it

"Boom" Maybe a 2 week adventure..
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to FirstBlood's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Sounds good to me, if my work wouldn't let me off I'd get a different job. I may have same issue with late cow elk and late deer. Pto built up and ready plus the stupid az voters just gave me another 21 hours sick time so I'll have a fever around December I'm guessing. -
backpacking tents.... what are you guys using?

I think I am going to ditch the pump filter this August??? Going to try the sawyer mini and inline it with dirty bag of 6L. Save some weight and pumping. -

I am down to 2 tents now, eureka solo for summer and rei 2 man for late season. Former is 1.2 lbs and latter is 4 lbs. I use a cheap 30 degree for summer 2 lbs and for late season I use a bivy sack with the same 30 bag but I bring a felt liner as well, still just over 3 lbs. Thermarest pad all the way now. No more hard foam. I always run full tents just for bug reasons and critters. Seem to have zero issues with tents but when I used to bivvy it I would have bug and mice issues. You don't want to hear my spider stories. Lol The rei tent has dual vestibule and entry which is the best. -

Hey Charley did you get another December tag?

Any tips , dos don't on waders? Figure on Colorado lakes and streams and possible northern az lakes type areas, black river. First time Wader buyer.
-
Ya being born here in az waders and fly rods just were not around. I used to bass fish with a fly rod but it was my buddies gear so never knew what was what. I now have a couple rods and waders on the way. Upgrades to come later I'm sure. Belt makes sense, never heard of that or the sock style Wader with boots.

Hey I was so off my mind set I just realized we had reservations booked and paid for for horse camp in Prescott, we had 2 nights rodeo tickets also. And we were booted by that fire as well. I donated the rodeo tickets to friends of friends and e got a refund on the horse camp. Minus 10.00 dollar booking fee. This trip was planned 4 months ago and there were several horse trailers going, still bummed about not going, now I'm more bummed your kids didn't get to enjoy camp. Dang that fire.

It's a bummer but hard to hold it against them. Guiding is a rough business and they have to deal with all manor of cancelations. 2 weeks before they may not fill the spots and they are out the revenue. Just be thankful the kids are good and you'll be ready to go again soon. Ya it sucks but it is a business, the policy is there because it happens enough that if all were refunded they would not be in business.

Pardon my ignorance, wading belt?

Of course deleting the def system is the best fix but illegal. So one thing I read when researching trucks before buying was the def issues. One way to help with any issues is to keep the def tank full at all times, fluid crystallizes when exposed to oxygen so the more air in the tank the more chance of crystallization. Worked for me so far. I do still need to get in for the recall, What by chance is your recall????

Mom sent me a link from forest lakes fire district. Mom is armed so no worries there but very odd deal. Major man hunt going on up there right now

Just listened to a podcast on CWD and really thinking about it in a different way. Much more concern is one thing. I still can't seem to answer the question of wether or not I would eat the meat from a positive animal? I am leaning towards yes but also leaning towards no? What would you do if you were in Co and shot a cow that tested positive? Dump it or freezer?

100 percent in their main living area for me. If I find a shed I'll be glassing that area in December January.
