Let me tell a little story, my son was on the couch lazy fat playing video games and zero motivation in life, no desire and no direction, he was not living with me. That all changed and he was under my roof at age 11. It was very very tough to say no but we rode his butt hard until finally when he was 18 he got his drivers license, we helped with a car then and he got a job, fast forward to now and he is 24 years old owns his home, drives a new truck and races dirt bikes all over az, when I got him onto racing years ago he lived it but would forget all about it unless I initiated it, so I sold all his bike stuff. Took 2 months before he noticed and he was devistated. Look at him now, it was tough but he is better for it and maybe someday he will thank me. Mean while I will make him go hunting with me and grandad. Same story for my daughter, she went 3 weeks not noticing I sold her horse, now she is in college in Tucson driver her own car and working, she never even called home ounce homesick, it was tough being hard on her the most, but she is on her own now and rocking it. Some times you just have to leave them them out or ride their butt for them to grow. Now if they would just say hello ounce in a while or say thank you!!!! Both my son and daughter hauled butt at 18, maybe because we didn't make it easy on them. They worked or they didn't get it, they ate what we cooked or they didn't eat, etc etc.

Man that's a bummer, I have the opposite problem my kids would never do any hunting or fishing unless I initiate but ounce we get out they have a great time. My son got drawn with his grandfather for their first ever elk hunt and when I told him he had zero reaction. I was discouraged but 3 generations in the woods together again with elk tags this time I will risk dragging him out and maybe him not wanting to be there. I suspect if we can find some elk he will be all pumped up like their deer hunt a few years ago. Don't worry too much just try to get him scouting and planning for the hunt and he doesn't change then donate the tag to one of the other kids or anonymous.

Figured a few guys on here would like this. Work sent me and my son to Ohio to look at and play with some new toys. Makino T2 5 axis horizontal milling center. This thing is not the biggest I have worked on but it's close. 1.5 meter pallet with 30,000 plus lbs capacity. Also looked over some of the products currently being produced by these machines, you might recognize some of them.

Pops and son drew cow tags in December, and my best friend drew late archery 5bn or 7. Looks like I'm free to help out on early archery hunts, I'm going to skip New Mexico and go for points in Montana.

Well it was 10,000 for my group to be in Ohio for a week so extrapolate from there, I'm guessing billing will be over 200.00 an hour for parts from this baby, if I had to guess ide say 2.4 mil, this is a future build for us, we were actually out there setting up an 8 machine by 241 pallet robotic center. We are expanding like crazy right now. So far in 2017 we are at 13.5 mil in Capitol expenditures.

Maybe some noticed I'm wearing thermals and a puffy jacket, well 3 days of snow since we got here. Pretty nice when it's hot back in az.

Hey did I hear correct, New Mexico charges the tag fee up front? I heard on Newburghs podcast it was just the app fee and hunting license for 78.00 total unless drawn????

I'm doing new mex this year as well, first time for me. I just looked at the draw odds and went with high draw odds areas. I'm actually doing muzzy and rifle bull in October, odds are better than az units I put in for. Good luck, these days I doubt there is an overlooked unit in the country

Pulling this off for a few weeks, price is going up, now on order new front end bushings, locking hubs, and tires. Exhaust is now corrected and steering is as well. I'll repost later ,,,, maybe?
