Sleep in hunting clothes when backpack hunting?

I use a liner in my bag and keep my thermals in my bag along with knitted wool socks. I Change into my thermals and socks and sleep in that. I rarely have needed thermals in az. Liner keeps bag dry and clean. If you are to get wet and needed to get in your bag wet the liner helps the bag get water out. I've never brought any extra clothes other than my thermals which I need anywAy. 1 extra pair of socks and what I have on my back. -
Really cool, thanks for sharing

Well I'm way past the need to have some work done on my left shoulder. I've been gritting out each day but quality of life is beginning to suffer. Looking for recomendations for the greatest surgeon in az? My current surgeon just seems to be going through the motions and doesn't seem concerned to find and correct the issue. I'm going to wait until after archery this sept then I'll be looking for a knife. Thanks for any insight.

Question? How did they diagnose? I've only had X-ray so far, therapy for 4 weeks now and zero progress.

Heading up close to pagosa next week, anyone else going for a look and some trout?
-
I've been doing well just about anywhere I go. Drop light and do some chumming and see what comes to the light. If no bait fish come in I would move on. Maybe an hour or so. I may head out tonight for a few hours. Good luck.

From the way it looks to me it's not headed for Showlow but straight north.

i thought the fire was just east of the 60 though? Ya I meant fr 73 , mom got some alerts and the news was saying different things. Not for sure on the road but it come south off 60. We just took 377 north to Holbrook and the smoke followed us north past the 40.

I think it's hwy 73 , I've Ben up here all week and can see the fire. Looks much less smoke this morning. Less wind as well but that was this morning.

Thoughts on the area's with fresh burn...
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to 8OWHUNT247's topic in Elk Hunting
From experience I can say the elk will be there. I had fire buzz several cams last year and the elk didn't care at all about the fire. FS guys said there were elk tracks in the dirt where it waS still smoldering in the morning. We had a bunch of elk where we hunted and there was a lot of burn around. This was the same type of low ground cover burn. A big scorcher is different. -
Hopefully it's just scar tissue from squinting into scopes and peeps too much. Hope it's nothing, don't dwell on it but keep proactive with the doctors
