Game and fish just hit my card. (Chase Bank).

I'm sure there are plenty of trail cameras down there, I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up on one of them.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. That muley rack is knarly.

Thanks for the update!

Here is a better pic of my setup. My philosophy is locks are there to keep the honest people honest. If the knuckleheads really want it, they are going to take it. I've been real happy with the lower end WGI camera's to limit my risk/loss, in the event it occurs. Placed in a lockbox, cable and masterlock and roll the dice....... I pick up my cameras every year on black friday from BPS online. They always offer a few WGI models.

So I've been playing around with my trail camera bracket design. The pics below are what it has evolved into. I've been using it on all my camera's out in the field. Its quick and easy to set up and adjust the tilt and pan planes on uneven terrain. I'll take a small torpedo level with me and get it just right, part of my OCD issues. So my question is-do you think there is market out there for them and if so, what would you pay for something like this?, (camera box not included, bracket assembly only). I really enjoy making them and another excuse to get some welding time in. Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks, Al

Sorry didn't see the previous post. Turkey for me.

Any recent updates about this bonehead from someone up in Rim Country? News travels slow down here in the valley or it gets buried by another wrong way driver or an overnight homicide. The reason I ask-me and the kids have 3 nights booked at Canyon Point CG Monday-Wednesday. It will be their first camping trip and hope it can be a good experience for them. They are old enough to know what "armed and dangerous" means...................Any updates would be great. Thank-you.

Here's one.....

I've heard about them in 3C from several people and was cautioned not to turn you back on a stallion if you come across one. Should be interesting, my bro-law has an archery bull tag up there.

Pwrguy-I too bought something similar to that for my first camera, but in my opinion, they are way overpriced. I was on the verge of purchasing another one for my second camera, then pondered the notion that I could come up with something just as functional that might be more affordable. "Trying to position a camera without a bracket...pain in the butt!!!", +1 on that.

Just sent you a pm.

Now that came out awesome. Nice idea.

Great pics. That is always my fear. I buy the low end cameras that take great pics and are relieble (WGI's). They are in cables and lockboxes. I realize this will only keep the honest people honest. Sorry to hear about yours. I just came back from my turkey hunt in 27. I hung my my oldest camera during last years spring turkey hunt. I was relieved when I walked up to the tree and it was still there, knocked over but still there. The batteries died after 6 months with 3200+ pics on it that I'm still weeding through. The elk found it and knocked it over with their tongues and noses. Bummed I missed out on the prime deer rut window.

So where has he been the past 4 days?

New Mexico draw results out 2 weeks early!
Lazy-H98 replied to Couestracker's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
We drew unit 22 any antler deer. I received 2 different emails from NM game and fish. Logged into my account to verify. No elk but very happy. -
Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. I have 3 cams out on assignment that need to be checked. My #4 is in the cabinet and needs to be put into service.
-
Yup $$$$$$$. Funny how AZ elk and antelope results come out 1 week after the NM deadline occurs. In cahoots I say. Game trails are better for cameras. The big smart ones water at night anyways.

I sure hope they can strike a compromise. We have all seen the pics of trail cameras lined up like mailboxes on the strip drinkers that give the opposition fuel for their fire. Heck I'm just a blue collar guy who runs 3 soon to be 4 low end cameras. The kids and I enjoy checking and viewing the cards. It sure helps getting through the year during the lulls. Maybe I can slap a "for educational purposes only" sticker on them and be safe. So where else are we going to get Jaguar pics from?

Enlighten me, what is "deleted and programmed"....... -
Nice work elk hunter. Take her to the steak out to celebrate. Best steaks around.

+1 on Coues hitting my salt. I started the lick in August, big bucks, small bucks and Does are still hitting mine down south.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. I hope to go check my camera on Wednesday to see who made it through and what sheds I'll need to be on the lookout for in May.
