Great pack, I have the same one. Rifle scabbard works great. Good luck!

+1 on range time turret validation. The chrono, apps, website calculators are all helpful tools to get you very close. I used the Ballistic app to get a baseline then shot 300, 400, 500, 600 yards to dial in and validate my elevation turret. The app got me close, but my real world range time validation for my rifle, scope and weather conditions have me fine tuned. Yes I reload.

Scope mounting for Tikka T3/T3x

My setup- T3X Lite Stainless 7MM EGW 20 MOA Picatinny rail Vortex Precision matched rings Vortex Viper HST 6-24X50 -
LRAB field testing 2017-watched my buddy (Floss) drop a big Muley with one shot using the 168gr LRAB, at 702 yards from his 7MM Sendero. He swears by them. 2018-watched him drop a Coues with one shot using the same setup at 370 yards. 2018-I dropped a Coues using the 160gr AB (non-long range) with one shot at 400 yards. Complete pass through taking out both liver and heart. My Tikka 7MM shoots awesome groups with it so I went with it. My 2019 plans are to put some more work into the 168's to see if I can find something my barrel likes.

Lance-great write up with data and pics. I dig this kind of stuff. Can you sum up in a nutshell what a "ladder test" is and what it tells you? -
I had Phoenix Custom Rifles (Tempe), put a AP micro bastard on my T3X 7mm earlier this year that i'm happy with. The rest of my family always goes with Accuracy Speaks, seen their work, top notch.

The truth right there.

I was wondering how the tally would shake out. What percentage of horn growth was down, in your opinion, in regards to the late monsoon?

How much does 'canting' your rifle affect accuracy?

Here is what I've worked up so far and by no means consider myself an expert. Thanks to those on this site that have shared their ideas and advice. I'm told finding a bullet that my barrel likes is one of many keys. My barrel seems to prefer Nosler 160gr Accubonds, 140's also grouped well. -2018 Tikka T3X lite stainless 7MM (trigger set to 2 lbs.) with an AP little bastard brake. Gotta throw down my Disclaimer-the data below is for MY rifle and my not apply to yours, start low and work up. -

What COAL are you using in your Tikka? Just curious, I had some promising results using 60 grains of IMR7828, 160 gr Accubonds with a COAL at 3.291 yesterday. -

For breakfast-trader joe single coffee packets (they have coffee, creme and suger already in it), just add boiling water. Bagel thins with peanut butter and honey smeared on them. +1 on the long spoon if you are going the mountain house route, keeps your fingers out of the food.......

people selling hunting spots on line....your thoughts
Lazy-H98 replied to davehc130's topic in The Campfire
I gave the dude a free pass on the podcast post. Then raised an eyebrow on the trail cam post. Now this? Smells fishy to me. I wonder what's coming down the pipe, "lighted nocks ruining hunting". -
Expecting a new rail and rings for my Tikka 7MM any day now. What is the drying time on blue Loctite? Just wondering how long I should wait before heading to the range. Thanks!

Thank you! Forgot about the acetone.
