Great information. I should clarify, I should have stated the screws for the rail going into the reciever.

Now that's a good question. I've been talking to EGW and Vortex and they both advise a drop of blue loctite on rails and bases. Can you share the scope manufacture?

Picked mine up about a month ago off Camofire. Since then I've seen it offered about 3 more times from them, sign up for their daily burn email.

Thank you.

I've seen 6 to date, but never with a tag in my pocket. Someday I'll remember to purchase one. After the pic, what do you guys do with the cat? Just wondering in case the stars align for me someday.

That's a cool idea. So the deal is we have a 14x19 wall tent with a Nuway wood burning stove that works fantastic. Normally someone (usually me) has to get up in the morning to load it up, before anyone gets out of their bags. We burn mesquite, oak and juniper that we stock up on leading up to the hunt. We have December tags (5500-7500 elevation), and a possible 6-15 day hunt, so wood goes fast. Someone told me about coal, but am worried about the safety issues that it brings.

Layering materials have come a long way. What is working for you guys? I have two cold weather fall hunts to gear up for, 8500-5500 feet in elevation. I did the huge cabelas Alaskan jacket decades ago on an elk hunt and dang near overheated in it anytime we moved. Here lately I've been layering with cotton (undershirt, thermal, longsleeve button up, and hoodie). Mostly just to get threw the morning bite then it comes off and ends up in my backpack. Any suggestions/recommendations? Thanks!

Good stuff fellas. So it looks like core 4 is no longer in business, so that's off the table. Saw some Onca gear from Spain at timber Mesa last night. Anyone try this line before?

+1 on the APA little bastard. Had one put on my Tikka 7MM in April. Doesn't kick up dirt.

The 6 I run are WGI''s. I pick one up ever Black Friday from Cabelas or bass pro. That's how I've grown my collection. Solid pics.
