  1. Awesome scope

13-30X50 I am original owner, looks brand new, no scratches on lenses or rubs on body, used at the range but kept in my pack when bowhunting.

    Asking $600 shipped,

Trades im looking for: Swaro 10X42s (plus cash on my end of course), or a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44 target turrets.

I have it listed on eBay too, I will remove it from here if someone bids on it there first, and visa-versa.

  2. peanut butter, honey, and bacon on wheat toast. you can make several ahead of time because bread doesn't get soggy.

i put my clothes in my sleeping bag with me at night so they're warm in the morning.

during archery season i keep an extra release aid buckled to a loop on my backpack because as soon as i take the one on my wrist off #1 it always takes awhile to find it, and #2 thats the only time a jackrabbit or coyote will stand still.

  3. I know this is kinda a stale thread, but I LOVE the .270 Win, and I didn't see anybody mention the Custom Ammunition from Nosler, specifically with 130gr accubonds. I get slightly above 3000fps average out of a 24" Rock Creek barrel on a semi custom model 70. 1/2" groups and I'm sure the rifle can do better (the guy pulling the trigger is the limiting factor-me!) great, great, great 500 yard rifle cartridge, shooting a 140 or 150 bullet you will only get 350 yard accuracy, and you'll need to find a bullet that expands well at low velocity. I've only ever tested 130grs, and only hear from reputable shooters that they go to a heavier bullet for elk at closer range rather than using a .30 cal or bigger better magnum. Just my .02!
