Great Buck. Five hour stalk wow. Hats off to you sir.

A buddy of mine shot a deer one time with no organs male or female....just a pee hole. It was a 3 point deer. But this happens often enough and that's why our tags read "antlered" not "buck"

Just got out of work tomorrow! Sweet! Headed up the mountain before sun-up. Gonna spot and stalk big old mulies. Taking a youngster along to teach him the ropes. Good luck to you all.

What do you wear on your feet for a stalk?

SAME here..... -
I love Rocket steelheads 3x4 Muley went 50 yards. 5x6 bull elk went 40 yards. 6x6 bull elk went 100 yards. Last year I switched to the trophy ridge Meatseekers (piston points) 6x6 bull elk went 25 yards. They both fly extremely well SAME AS FIELDPOINTS out to 100 yards.

So I was lucky enough to draw a tag for one of these incredible animals. 19A rifle hunt. 30 tags. STOKED! I can hardly contain myself here! and my wife just bought me a pair of vortex 15's for the hunt woot woot! SO....reading the reg book and footnotes I can't really determine much about boundaries and what exactly is limited access and what is "free to hunt" I have assertained that I may NOT hunt the portion south of 169/69. But the western portion/northern side.... grey area. I CERTAINLY DON'T want to anger anybody who lives out there by walking the wrong side of the fenceline, or do anything to make "those" people dislike "us people". So if someone can draw me a mental map of whats ok to hunt, and if I need to gain access who to contact, or where to go. it would be a huge help! I have only been up to the west/north side of that unit a few times and so I have my work cut out for me this summer. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks boys. PM's are just fine as well.

I'm the oddball I use and love my falcon menace 4-14x44 counter sniper on my 7mag. It's a first focal plane. And its much better than the super leupold I used to have on it. http://www.snipercentral.com/menace4.htm I use middle of the road Nikon's most other rifles.

Vipers for me. Love em.

I am always intrigued by decoys and blinds and trying things that are not so traditional.... fun stuff .... So I was wondering who has used any of the following blinds, decoys, etc to harvest or hunt pronghorn? #1. the Zebu cow link #2. The Ghost mirror blind link #3. Montana decoy (or similar) Any others I am missing that may be useful??????? Thanks boys.

I pretty much just go hunting for myself, to better my skills, and learn what I can from the great outdoors. A trophy animal to me is how much effort and good times I had on the hunt. My 1st archery dink elk is by far my favorite trophy. I do love watching, reading, and learning all I can from others, and any source of good information I gobble it up. I take others' arrogance with a grain of salt, I don't let it bother me. It strikes me as Laughable at best. But I do that with any type of misguided attitude and boastfulness.... I just smile at them and roll with it. Life is much easier this way I have found.
